hi im new to the forums and just wanted to introduce my car to the forum. i have a 87 base model fc with street ported six port block, currently supporting a t70 turbo with 3 inch downpipe and exhaust. more updates later. : )
My updated pics. 1987 SE turned turbo. Borg Warner S472, trust manifold, tial 40mm, water injection, yadda yadda yadda. I have all of the supporting mods. I will be finishing the car real soon.

Update on mine.
Original tuner pumped 22psi of boost into it on pump fuel and suspect its either bent the SCR seals or damaged the apex seal springs.
Went to a diff tuner, and installed a Microtech MTX8 and pulled 302rwhp @ 1 bar ... so the motor is low on compression. That night I went to the drags, couldnt get the car off the line and got a 13.03 @ 118 .... good trap speed though.
Motor is out and about to be rebuilt

I have a turbo II with only 50,000 miles on it. Super clean. I put a 13b-rew with a t60-1 turbo, v mount setup, 850/1300 injectors, tial wastgate, everything is powedercoated or polished.

that's too broad of a question to answer simply. best as in, best mpg? hehe, best spool characteristics, best what? the search function would probably turn up plenty of information that'll be helpful to you. when you're ready to ask a relatively detailed question, then it'll be easier for the members of forum to point you in the right direction. based on knowledge and real world experience.
