I agree that there is much more to a port than simply the size and that intake and exhaust porting are two basically different entities.

Reduction of backpressure minimization in the exhaust side all while trying to give good atomization and flow on the intake side (taking into account the effects on turbulence).

I don't know if I would do my own porting would probably want to practice on a few motors first as from what I have read from various sources it is more of an art than a science with our motors.

My V-Mount kit and 62-1 turbo setup. Manifold is custom and the V-Mount is the Design Engineering Works prototype kit. Fuel rails are custom and fed in parallel rather than series. I have been running E85 controlled by an E8 in seq/direct fire modes with 1200/1600 cc injectors and LS-1 truck coils on ignition. I should have some pics of my racepak IQ3 digital display I have mounted to my custom gauge consol.

Time for a Worthy Reni to post

Before: Old/Recent setup; T04S-.84A/R P-trim. 414whp @ 16psi on pump.

Now: Using manifold in the last picture and a PT71GTQ-.96A/R running on E-85 with 2X720cc, 2X1000cc and 2X1680cc, dual bosch -044 pumps. Power: TBD (no time for dyno right now but feels way stronger than with the previous setup

You will be looking at easily more than 5,000$ on the cheapest side of the scale.
