I am almost finished with my FD3 Ballistic GT Turbokit. The kit utilizes a Dual Ball Bearing GT Turbo (GT40 Compressor Setup .70 A/R) and a highly ported T3 turbine housing, 1.06 A/R on the hit side. Take a look !

i wouldn't run a stock engine with a T78 it won't last long. its too much pressure on the engine especially at 17psi +. your best bet is to tear down the engine replace the seals and make sure all the clearances are really good

I ran over 22 psi on my stock engine with the T-78 and the Haltech E6K. Its not safe but I only had 20K plus miles on the stock motor.

Car: 93 Touring
Engine: 13B balanced, large street port w/ 3mm seals
by ( JEFF & ALLEN AT ROTARY POWER )
"WHO I HIGHLY RECOMEND"
Turbo: A'PEXi RX6A w/ exhaust turbine housing
ported & extrude honed
Exhaust manifold: A'PEXi SS tubular, interior
de-burred & polished
JETHOT 2000 in & out
Wastegate: TIAL 46mm currently 1bar spring
Boost control: mechanical
Engine management: A'PEXi PFC w/ Commander
basic program by XS who will
dyno after engine break in
Intake manifold: Pinned, ported, Polished, extrude
honed JetHot 1300 lower exterior.
Throttle body: currently stock
Injectors: 550cc / 1300cc
Fuel regulator: currently stock
Fuel pump: Large Denso in tank don't know GPH
Intercooler: Home made APEX'i GTR core w/ 2 ½"
piping
BOV: Tial
Exhaust: currently 3" w/ silenced mid pipe by SR.
will be changing to home made 3 ½ "
w/ 2 in line mufflers

All accessories removed except power steering, air conditioning and ABS. I also removed the oil metering pump. I will use a 2 stroke additive for seal lubrication and Red line 5 - 30 WT oil depending on oil pressure.

Goal:
415 to 425 RWHP. More is always better but I prefer throttle response. This car will be driven 98% to 99% on the street. When I started this project more than 1 ½ years ago I thought that number would be easy to obtain but after reading multiple posts from people that know more than I will ever know, I doubt it. I was also lucky enough to get a ride in Max Cooper's car. I was very happy with the throttle response because his is set up similar to mine but as Max and Cheuk in Seoul said if they had a chance to do it over again, they would have gone with a bigger Turbo. I agree. So we will see. I will post my dyno numbers when I get them.

Current status:
On hold except Saturdays. I just stated a new business and all funds are invested. Prox. 40 - 45 hours until I can fire it. I will finish the Intercooler and piping this Saturday and all that is left to do is fabricate a radiator, make an air box, re-enforce front fame and various duct work. Does that sound like 40 - 45 hours or am I fooling myself. AHH who cares because it is all for fun.

I just got my To4s installed and all I can say is dam this thing looks so sweet. It went on a lot easier than I though, I know you guys have seen the to4 before but I'll post a few pictures as soon as ryan gets his purple *** over there. This week I'm going to tuning for 10psi, but as soon as I can I'll post my dyno runs.
