Carlton- I'm quoting your exact words here so the only person you can get mad at is yourself: "OR BUY A SHITTY FC... (worst rx7 ever)."

You've made other various posts like this here and there. Now my question is why would you want to buy the worst rx7 ever? Why would you want to buy the worst rx7 ever in the worst condition you could buy one in when you already have one... in bad condition.

Don't buy that TurboII, it's going to be more of a problem than you think, especially since you are mechanically challenged.

LOL.. I do think its the worst rx7 ever.... I much prefer a FB or FD to the FC.... but I also have, "turbotronic-blow-off-i-like-to-make-money-and-learn-****-while-doing-it-whooshing-itis"

meaning, If i can learn more about rotarys, and get some turbo enjoyment out of it, then sell the car as finished and make a good bit of money........... Im all in for the idea.

cause to be truthful... although I dont see the need to turbo a rotary for street use.... (i think id be fine with just porting) I love the sound of turbos lol. and I wanna buy a Turbo 911/WRX/Evo or something fun like that sooner or later...

So it'd be fun to get this FC back together and drive it around for a few months then sell it and buy something else.

OH OH OH!

LIKE maybe I could take it to Canada and trade it for a Evo III !!!!

I mean, UNLESS you wanna throw me 20 grand... or co sign with me... the 911 turbo is about $10k out side of my price range ATM

http://www.swacars.com/detail.aspx?I...newandusedcars

^^ that one is like a mile away from my house on a used lot. GAHHHHHHHHHHHH, its so hard not to try and steal it when the lots closed lmao.

i would buy it on the premis that it looks as though that the person was mid way through an EMS install. maybe the engine is good? i dont know.

this fact alone makes this purchase soo much more worth it.

find out more about about it, and buy it. at least you can part it out and make back the money and then some.

I am probably picking up a new DD today pending a second test drive tonight. Does anyone here have the ability to run the carfax for me? If so, I can shoot you the VIN#.

Ok, going to be tearing into an SE this weekend to see why there is no fuel getting to the fuel pump. Pick up screen is supposedly new (trustworthy source said that). So any ideas of what else I should be looking for? It was running, nothing changed, no longer gets fuel to the pump. Owner thought it was the pump, replaced it, nothing.

Donnie, great news... Sorry, I can't help you with the Carfax. BTW, did you get all those soda bottles saved up for the launch at the Mitty? I am bragging about your blast off on the Mitty thread.

Carlton, when you change your oil this weekend, look the oil filler tube. You will find a nipple (should have vacuum hose on it) about half way down the tube. You need to run a vacuum hose from that nipple to the 3rd nipple from the front on the phenolic spacer. Do a search for lung butter on the 1st Gen Technical forum. You will find a bunch of articles and pictures.

Tim, don't know about an SE but the only thing in front of the pump on the carb'ed engines is the fuel filter. This is assuming the pick up is working.

I told Carlton he should'a gotta Nikki. But did he listen to me? Nooooo..........

Tim, is that SE for sale? If so, don't fix it first, that'll get the price down a bit.

Hey Michael, thanks for the tip on the Bold Text! This looks like a mod-proof method so I'll give it a try. Here goes:

Obligatory bold text for Ray.

Oh well, here's something you can't mess up:

It is not currently for sale. It may be if it doesn't get fixed. Don't really need a 5th car, so I wouldn't be buying it anyway. Just trying to help a friend out.

I've been doing some research on the bolding problem and I think this will work:

Obligatory bold text for Ray.

way to go ray. i told u in my other post that it's not the greater than, less than signs < >. that's for bolding when writing a web page. for posting in threads u use the brackets [ ], the keys next to the letter P on the keyboard. glad u finally figured it out.

Thanks Michael. I feel like people will finally start paying attention to me now that I can type in bold. I just hope the mods don't find out.

Carleton, you can buy a pretty decent FB, including a really nice Nikki, for $600 bucks.
