I am up for it IF my I can get my Nikki to get fuel through one (yes just 1, the other is okay) of the primaries. I rebuilt it and took the top of the carb off several times to check everything and ran out of ideas. Anyone here have any?

Does Mazda still sell the gasket between the upper and lower intake manifolds for a GSL-SE (and my Dellorto)?
If not, does anyone know who sells them locally?

Advanced Auto can get the Beck/Arnley 037-4675 gasket set for $17. Will have to order it but normally just a day away.

So today i decided to pull the '82 out and see what i need to do to get it road worthy for the Mitty.

Catalytic converter, four new tires, and a good bath and it should be ready. I dont think my Mom will be able to make it out so if i end up getting this car back on the road in time then i will probably be leaving my SE at home.

Big power boost, great rumbly sound, bolt in replacement for the three cats, inexpensive.

You can always buy a cat later if you need it, but an after market cat may end up doing some irreversible damage to the exhaust system, especially if you take it to a muffler shop.

For the heck of it, I called Rick Case and talked to Bob in Mazda parts. They do still have the gasket available, but the closest one is in Illinois. It will be just under $7 at the Duluth store in 2 days or so.
In discussions with Bob about the car, I said it was actually an aftermarket carb/mainfold setup. He promptly asked "Is it a Dellorto from Racing Beat?" I was supprised that anybody at a delaer would know about it.

 

Yup. Behind Chipolte, AT&T, Firehouse Subs, Radio Shack, etc.

 

arrgghhh. I might show up with a friend. his FC is having a vacuum leak issue.... I told him FC's vacuum lines came effed from the factory but hes like help me find it, and im like >_______< shoulda bought a FB lol.
