I don't have the pictures anymore, but you can get good pics by googling "rx7 pulsation damper replacement". It shows you how it's linked to the fuel system, where it's at, what exactly it looks like, etc.

Basically, you remove the intake by disconnecting the throttle and cruise control cables, the oil metering rod, many electrical connectors, 2 fuel lines, and a few vacuum hoses on the upper intake & throttle body. Then remove the 1 bolt and 4 nuts on the pass. side of the motor that hold the lower and upper intake manifolds together. Also remove the 3 bolts that support the drivers side of the upper intake manifold. Once you've figured out how to remove that, you can clearly see the lower fuel rail. Remove the front fuel line, use 2 wrenches to unscrew the old pulsation damper, and screw on your banjo bolt using 2 new copper crush washers. I torqued the banjo bolt down pretty hard to prevent any leaking.

Sorry man, I got rid of a lot of little stuff like that and I don't have any anymore. You would probably have good luck at a junkyard, thought.

I really don't have any good pictures, but a Google image search here (http://www.google.com/search?um=1&hl...w=1366&bih=662) seems to have a good collection of pictures that are helpful.

Basically, you remove the intake by disconnecting the throttle and cruise control cables, the oil metering rod, many electrical connectors, 2 fuel lines, and a few vacuum hoses on the upper intake & throttle body. Then remove the 5 bolts on the pass. side of the motor that hold the lower and upper intake manifolds together.

That's my attempt at a half assed explanation .

Thanks for the info...still fumbling around this site, trying to get comfortable. I heard recently that, if the manufacturer is no longer offering the emissions gear for replacement, the car is exempt form emissions inspection. I'll have to investigate further. Thanks again...
