Not supposed to end until 6pm, so you'll get most of the day.

Finally put my KYB AGX struts and Racing Beat springs on the car. It rides so much different. It actually bounces like it should! Corners like a dream. Just need sway bars, strut tower braces, and the tranny replaced and I am good to go for auto-x! The good thing is that I can do all the work at work with a lift!

Nice work Zach, I should do some suspension things to the Silver One. I've always relied on the original stock suspension for my 84/85 GSLs, seems to work fine but who knows what I'm missing?

Thanks for the clarification on when the world ends Tim, that means we can party right on up to 6 pm, should be plenty of time.

Ray you are missing out on some of the best features the fb has to offer ,spend that raise on some poly bushings ,Tokikos and springs at minimum. Then when you hook up the secondaries the silver one will be really fun to drive LOL.

Secondaries are hooked up, turned that commuter car into a sports car. Whoot!

If we get past Saturday I'll start to look into suspension upgrades.

Do we have wild ramblings of an old OGTA when you retire from teaching Ray? I hope yours are at least rotary oriented. Like predicting when the next 12A car will be made. Now that is something I can get behind. Plus I think Armegeddon takes the weekends off so that guy is waaay off.

Shoot, who needs to wait for retirement?

The Second Coming of the 12A will occur within the next five years and all non-believers will be eaten by Rotary Zombies.

Gene's right Ray. You drove the Gray Ghost and remember how tight it was and how it cornered. I need to let you take the Blue One out for a ride, after I deal with that steering box.

All good reasons for him to buy my FB. It has the RE- Speed bushing kit already installed. Grab the shocks and springs and you are set. Killer deal will be made to a senior OGTA member.

It's tempting Dave, problem is I have a shed full of 84/85 GSL parts, most of which won't swap into Project Fireball. I'm heavily invested in 84/85 GSL's.

Mike, Gene, new shocks and springs sound like a great upgrade for sure, but you know us Yankees. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The suspension on the Silver One should be fine for another 100,000 miles, at least until she turns 30 in 2015.

So I have another 4 years to score some good tokicos on a low ball ebay bid.

That is, if the earth doesn't start shaking tomorrow at 6:00 pm.

That reminds me of a video:

Moral of story Gene: You just need to use Coors Light.

You know that's an interesting question. So far he's only had Coors Light.

Do you think he'd drink a Bud Lite?

That would be terrific, I've never seen a Daytona Blue SA before. In the mean time do you have any teaser pics? (We need to do something to get this thread back on topic).

Looking forward to meeting you and the car!

I'm there for the Friday Hunan Mike and what you have captured is a photo of a horse's ***:

Looks like something you'd find in Brett's backyard. (Brett, think Gatorade).

Check out this article that was in our Sunday paper, looks like those Miata guys are going nuts. We could add some FB's to the mix to reset the standard, don't you think?
