Cool, Kinda figured it was a financial impossability for us to get "private" track time at RA. Only 1.5 hrs away huh? This will give us all a reason to meet up for a OGTA cruise to ZF from ATL .

A clear sunny day, dropping down to about 80 degrees F at 6:00 pm, with the first arrivals. Several new folks and a nice collection of cars. Total 12A equivalent count was 20.08, not a record but close (the current record is 21 12A equivalents, set on a regular Tuesday evening meeting last summer).

Zach took several professional quality photos with his professional quality camera and he will post the good stuff later on.

For now, here’s the 12A count:

3 SA’s = 4.5 12A’s (Andy the Elder, Andy the Younger, Gene)
1 SE = 1 12A (Alex)
6 FB’s = 6 12’s (Ben, Juno, Geraldo, Mike, Ray, Dean)
4 FC’s = 2 12A’s (Kristy, Zach, Ricky, Chris)
1 FD = 0.33 12A’s (Dan)
2 RX8’s = 0.25 12A’s (Holly, Alan)
1 RX2 = 2 12A’s (Billy)
1 RX3 = 2 12A’s (Jeremy)
1 REPU = 2 12A’s (Crit)
4 Boingers = 0 12A’s (Collin and Brett’s MaxiPads, Tim’s Lotus and New Guys Irvin and Penny’s 3rd gen Miata)
Ray are you going to approve the meeting an offical record breaker with the addition of:
1.0 for Cory showing up in the Tender Blue FB ( he was there when we all went into Twisted Tavern and should be in any pics that Zach took)
.25 for the part FB PreProd for Kristy?

Either way that is 21.08, or 21.33.

I finally found a use for those ***-fugly fog lights that were on Sabine when I bought her.. They've been sitting in my garage for ages, so.. I got bored and did this!

BTW Brett, 93 Octane = Win for VQ30DE! Runs way better, sounds smoother and pulls more cleanly without totally falling on it's face at 5k.

Keep after him Holly. He will never change it for me even if I submitted all the required paperwork.

Back to this "**** up" thing. There are just so many possible comments that could be made.

Holly, Kristy, Juno cover you eyes.

Naah, I just can't do it.

Aw common Mike, write it down. You can go back ten years from now a see how wise and decisive you were back then.

Holly, the 0.75 for the PrePro sound reasonable, although it does look like just another FC out in the parking lot. Can Kristy put some stickers on their or something?.

In any event, I'm not even on the OGTA Reconciliation Committee and I'm note familiar with their procedures so my vote doesn't count anyway.

Also I'm not an authority on late shows (married, employed and responsible) so we'll have to farm that decision out to some of our more worldly members who understand night life better.

What's the vote and what's the count dudes?

I am surprised the whole "**** up" thing has everyone confused. It is pretty simple really............

Say you are driving down the road and you see a female raccoon walking. She is currently "**** down". Now say you accidentally hit her with your car.... she is now "**** up"

It is really not as confusing as to the correct use of Bollocks.....and we wont even get started on Bob's your uncle.

Bob's your uncle is a commonly used expression known mainly in Britain, Ireland and Commonwealth nations. It is often used immediately following a set of simple instructions and carries roughly the same meaning as the phrase "and there you have it" or "you're all set"; for example, "To make a ham sandwich, simply put a piece of ham between two slices of buttered bread, and Bob's your uncle."

Oh this example clears everything up.

Say you are driving down the road and you see a female raccoon walking. She is currently "**** down". Now say you accidentally hit her with your car.... she is now "**** up", Bob's your uncle.

Nice thing about TGP is that it is a great beginner's track, in that there are really no walls to hit if you make a small mistake. Only downside is it is a bit tougher on brakes (not as much time for cooling) and the outside front tire. But it does have the option of changing direction.

And 1st gens don't chew up tires and brakes badly .

Should be a good venue.

Seriously guys, those sneakers are men's sneakers. They do not have ladies sizes. They are custom made, so no exchanges or returns. A word a caution, if you are buying what you think is your ladies size, you are going to end up with sneakers you can wear.

I don't do pulls in my Maxima... lol. I play with Honda's occasionally, but still feel like a douche myself once I'm through. I'm having withdrawals from driving the RX7. I think I'm going to work on it tomorrow, hopefully have the motor dropped in and have it half together.

On another note, I've been working on my house a bit lately. I've got the paint on every wall touched up, the trim put up around the front door and painted, everything cleaned, the little things fixed like the sticky door **** and what not, the inflatable swimming pool out of the front yard taken up, the weeds killed in the back walkway... So it's time for the RX7.
