I dunno exactly, but I think it has something to do with it being wired to the dimmer accessory wire. The wiring behind the radio was kinda fubar and I could only find one 12V source from the ACC. It worked perfectly for months until one day it just started doing that. So I guess it just needs a new wire run to the ignition. The constant 12V was new and so was the ground. I just run the parking lights. Not a big deal as long as you remember to turn them off.

I might have a harness for the taillights...just the bit all the bulbs plug into, but you gotta come get it at my house if you want it (as in dandridge).
Did my MPG in the conquest today....23MPG with a bad head, fouled plugs, prolly dead O2 sensor, bad tires, misaligned front end, and a rattling exhaust....sounds like more fun to be had before its first auto-cross/dragon trip. Also found a replacement airdam (only sold in CF but thats ok with me) and have been researching it a bit last night, sounds like its gonna be a fun car stock, let alone once i start to tinker (as in get a spare core and build it up).

Tires you say? Gimme some details. Really all I need right now are fronts but I'd take a whole set.

That's gotta be Tyler if he had a Trans Am. Cool deal, how did he find out you knew me? Saw the FC?

yeah, he saw the FC and said he knew a guy that had repainted one, then I asked where this fc was and your name was spoken. So while we both waited for our parts to be found in the O'reilly's whorehouse we bs'd.

And despite me having the most meanass of headaches/sinus pressure I managed to get both rear calipers swapped out on the 'Quest, so it can finally hold itself on a hill. Gotta order me some head studs/bolts and a head gasket still before I can swap out heads. And I totally forgot about working on the NA this weekend....planned on it but the brakes took priority

Cool deal, I bet Tyler had some really good stories about Auto II in high school. Ah, poor FC... it's being pushed aside by the newcomer. Well hopefully the 'Quest as you call it will be on its big feet soon.

Welcome to the club in advance then. Any reason for settling in Johnson City?

Also, still got that Legacy GT for sale? I've always wanted one of those for a daily driver. I hate to say it but I'd almost trade my TII for one.

You're coming up here to buy my first gen, right??

I hope you can get used to driving up here again... as you might remember, the roads do this weird thing where they will veer to one side or the other. We call 'em "turns." I haven't heard from anyone out quite that far.

And nope, never heard that name. I guess your fame doesn't escape Cocke county.

well let me start this by saying.. how much?? lmao second yea itll take me a while to get used to driving a 5spd in the mountains again... like i said i had a 98 mustang gt.. nice.. supercharged 4v 4.6l.. 5spd.. 3.73 trac-lok rear end.. ended up wrapping it around a tree just before the move to fl... and thats why you shouldnt drive a mustang n the dragon.. they cant do it lol..

3rd.. yea my fame never usually got outside the bounds of morristown.. lmao

i heard they just rebuilt the knoxville mall?? you know.. the bigass 3 story one? lol and last time i was up there (april i think) they were en route of rebuilding the east town mall

You know how much... 1500 or one running death trap motorcycle.

So is that Mustang wrapped around the Tree of Shame now? I know exactly what you're talking about... I've ridden in a 96 Mustang GT up there a couple times and it's pretty obvious that something is wrong there. Like a whale in the desert.

I haven't heard anything about the mall, although I never go out to East Town. A few years back they changed it to "Knoxville Center Mall" even though it's nowhere near the center of Knoxville. I guess they were trying to evade the bad "East Knoxville" rep it had. Didn't work.

O.o hory **** another 7 owner closer to me o.O...and last I looked the cheapo red gxl seems to have disappeared from the exit4 whitepine 'salvage' yard...
And which sherrif do you refer to that was once in the county of ****? Ive been out in Jeff. County for the last 10-12 years or so and last I checked in with Cocke County they just indicted(sp?) one of the big daddy judges and his cousin for some serious **** (like the judge would drug test EVERYONE and send em all to the cousin for parole stuff, or something like that)

And yeah, the NA is getting put to the side as I get the bugs worked out of the Conquest, kinda need it to be reliable and stuff before I rip the underbody apart on the FC. Ebrake works fine now, though now Ive noticed the clutch is slipping something fierce, so another part to chalk up before I swap out the head and go nuts on the wierd *** wiring in that over cramped bay.

Maybe, but since when did a "minivan" sit as low as an FC, have nice meaty tires stock, and seat only 4. Btw, the backseats in this thing are kinda comfy and useful, not so much in the actual hatch area but eh, I might just keep all the crap out of the back of the FC and just recarpet the rear instead.

no actually it was a few miles past the tree of shame.. one particularly hard hairpin.. and t\ yea it is alot like a whale in the desert.. its such a bad car to even think of driving on the dragon lol my thunderbird makes it down the dragon better than my mustang did but ofcourse thats the difference in 4wheel independent (tbird) and IFS and a straight axel in the rear lol.. mustangs SUCK for drifting.. lmao

as for east knoxvilles uh.. "bad image"(to say the least).. they will never rid themselves of that lol..

I dunno, since when did Mazda 3's run 9 inch rear rims(for the SHP version, mines only 8's atm)? or was a RWD platform? Just sucks the stock headunit is fragged...going kinda insane having to listen to the 'cat' heat shielding rattling beneath the passenger floorboards...

Well you used to be close >.< But yeah screwport's slightly reforming....now if they would just deport 90% of the illegal's over there I might consider driving through that area once more...but as it is I hate going thru newport for anything other than visiting my aunt, whom is usually over here more than not.

Though what year thunderbird? I used to own a 94 with the 4.6L V8 and C4 automatic....destroyed the autobox's gears 3 times in a year and a half and managed to have a drunk rip off the front bumper. Sold the still great V8 for 250, bought a saturn...sold the saturn for my 1st 7, which after buying several more its still the only 7 I have deemed reliable enough to keep.
