Pfft, ive told myself and everyone else that I will NEVER own a honda(car truck suv...bikes and offroad equipment is different). Im actually looking at a reasonable Conquest out in VA for just a bit more money that what I originally gave for my NA...and it too comes with lots of spare parts. Stock 2.6L FMIC turbocharged DSM power, 5speed and nice fat rear tires (for that nice RWD that we love so much)

Blew two more engine fuses on the way home from work today. Finally had to pull a 20amp fuse from who knows where and plug that in just to get it home! So the adventure continues with the TII. Meanwhile, the Cheeto's brakes are half done. Man I love Mazdas!

I'll probably give you a call pretty soon, after I wake up a bit and get everything back together. I think I still had one of the lines left to get on.

Well yea maybe not 100% but hopefully MORE reliable than my T2 was. And jimi id be all for checking wires that are grounding out, especially if its popping engine fuses, like fuel pump wiring or anything that could be getting rubbed raw.

My dash gauge pod showed up today, in the process of installing it then ill post pics of it, this includes the pics of it right out of the box then with gauges, then fully installed in the car. Mmmm I love wednesdays, cuz tomorrow is payday!

The Cheeto STOPS! YAY! Thanks again for the help Cody. Next up I'll try to mercilessly slaughter the gremlins in the TII, and then I'll put their mutilated corpses up on pikes outside the driveway to discourage their families from coming near my cars. Nice, eh? Gotta be ruthless with this ****.

Derrick, you're probably right. It's gonna be fun finding it, I'm sure. The weird thing is, it seems to be related to my stalling issue. It blows fuses when I hit the brakes and stall the engine. So I'll start around all the brake systems first. Good thing I don't have a complicated ABS system.

bleh, almost all wired up >.< sucks trying to do things the right way the first time and wiring in such a way that it wont interfere with other wires and installing/removing other things either...

As promised its picture time folks,
Here we have the CF dash pod from retro-spec, fresh out of its box.

Now, after cutting two 'roughly' 2inch holes with a dremel (there were supplied dimples for centering pods btw) I installed the Prosport Oil pressure and Oil Temperature gauges, also opted to use the supplied hoods.

And finally, installed with some night shots (sorry bout the blur)

nice.. but now you have no where for those tweeter pods I was going to make you.. If you got power mirrors or if you hardly ever if never change the settings. I could build around the little handles I guess.

I was thinking about that too...though a better place to mount them would be the trim section at the upper corners of the windshield right? this way they can be angled properly and still be kinda hidden and function right.

its not really obstructive to my view, no more so than the headlight being up, but ive yet to actually drive the car with it in as I had JUST got done when those last pics were taken. I like it so far, but im damn glad to have an oil pressure gauge that moves immediatly instead of slow like stock, and I can see already that my stock gauge/sender is way off the mark or just takes forever to get to the right readings.

Looks pretty damn good. Hopefully it won't be a nuisance on the Dragon or anything, being able to see into the turns and such.

After driving the car today the pod does NOT interfere with driving one bit, though tinting my windows would help with the only problem I have with things, like the pods are small mirrors in the day and reflect like my drivers mirror, even more so really as I see well out of them lol
