Ye lets do something . I think the meet should be on sunday at 1 pm cause that was the same time we held the meets he attended.
Jimi is there any way you can come in contact with the family just to see if they need us to do anything ?

I probably still have his cell phone number written down but that's it. I'm not sure what we could do... or if I could bring myself to talk to them. I'm not good at that kinda stuff. I'm up for the meet, we should leave an empty spot for him. Has anyone talked to Brillo or Cody?

Yea I talked to brillo yesterday he said he would tell Cody . I think Brillo might go over to his house and talk to his parents that is a hard thing to do . We need to make this meet open to all others who want to join us in his memory . I talked to Lou about a little sticker for him he said ok .
So sunday it is .

Funny, haven't seen her at the meets.

In more pleasant news, I saw two TII's while leaving work recently. One was on 640 heading east towards Western... had some crazy two-tone tan/flat black paint scheme. No idea who that could have been. The other passed within feet of me in the fog and I barely got a glimpse of it, but it looked like a black TII, possibly S4. My first thought was that it was Cody but I still wanna say I saw S4 lights in my rearview mirror.

I'm guessing the obituary would be in the News Sentinel. Are they posted online maybe?

^ I'm going to have to disagree.. the way her body is laying according to the logo.. it contradicts each other.. Flip her body.. and put her on the other side.

Also change her clothing colours to either a complimentary colour to blue.. If you don't know how you it doesn't turn out well.. vice versa. Also.. Sorry I'm still bitching.. but since you own the source file of the logo it should be a vector and more smooth.

The shadow is also off.

Self-taught Graphic Designer of about on-and-off 4 years.

I'll start pumping out some work once I get a new computer I'm on my back-up computer as my other died about 3-4 years ago. I also do webdesign. ...or well did. I was learning php when I stopped.

It'd be coooooler if it said East TN RX-7 Club since it's an RX-7 club, not a Mazda club. Oh and minus the *****, add a rotor

jeez more logos >.> but whats with all this sunday stuffs why not saturday since apparently more of us can show for that and jimi isnt a zombie, and I might have an actual reason to sleep for the weekend.
Id still like to see just what it took to make a belted in driver DoA after making love to the front of a schoolbus...just kinda morbidly facinated so i know where to reinforce the buzzbomb.

In reply to the critisism on our logo....

1. If I placed her on the other side of the logo her hand would not have contact with the logo. (which from the source of the photo she's holding onto something)
2. Yes, the logo would look a lot crisper in vector, but the logo has been embossed, along with multiple effects in an application that is known for these tricks.
3.As for her clothes, I don't have all the time in the world. And being that I'm a full time graphic designer, I try not to dedicate all my time on the computer when I get home. Gotta show my wife some luv too.
4. And as far as "East TN RX-7 club" goes, duely noted. That's a great point and I think we should all come to an agreement on it, I for one say "I".
5. As for the shadows being off-set. The Actual Logo is setting Higher off the surface than the girl is, in fact the girl is actually making contact with the surface as opposed to the Logo which is suspended in mid air...ooouu.
6. As for myself, I have worked designing graphics on a computer for over a decade, have gone through school as a graphic designer and have illustrated my entire life.

If I've missed any points let me know, and I will make any adjustments necessary to keep our family content.

I appreciate the critiquing.

Gracias!

Oh, and I'll meet up with you mAZFIEND.

Oh, no.. I wasn't saying anything about your schooling or talent. I knew you are in the biz and had probably been for a while. I was just stating that I was into it at one time and had to stop. Jimi I never said he was doing it wrong. It may have been implied but that's not what I was doing.

On revisit you are right the angle of her body wouldn't work on that side.. and the clothes wouldn't have to be changed.. the was just something I was feeling at that time and to maybe make it more.. I don't know. nevermind. Just a quarter thought suggestion.

Anyway, the shadows being offset, I understand what you are saying and I saw the exact example done last night when watching George Lopez, while trying to get tired. He too stands beside his name and so on..

Anyway I'm an *******. Don't change anything. Especially when it is nothing big.. I like critiquing sometimes though. It's not a bad thing.

Are you building the website for the shop that Joey was talking about?

Yeti, no prob, I was just busting your *****! If I couldn't handle a little critiquing I'd make it nowhere fast in this industry. I respect the fact that you have an eye for graphic design. You brought up some valid points....

Anyway, no hard feelings.

Up with hope, Down with dope!

Spak!
