Similar yes, yet....I dunno. The gauge cluster is wierd, i dont really like its arrangement since I cant see the oil pressure or water temp without moving my head around the gawd aweful 'startrek' steering wheel. The seats sit too high for my tastes, yet are ok. The stereo surround is almost indestructable, theres seriously 20ish screws and bolts to remove before you can successfully pull the headunit out, and that includes all of the console trim and such to get it out. The stock shift **** is HEAVY, but in a good way, since the stock shifter is tall as hell. The glovebox I like more than the FC's, since nothing falls out when you open it. The backseats are useful, the hatch is actually far too small for anything besides one good sub enclosure and some groceries (my milk crate of tools actually makes the cargo cover bulge upward....
I do happen to love the switch setup, its more ideal to push one button than to turn a dial and hope it works. All the wipers work in all settings, including the intermitten that actually speeds up when the car starts going at a decent pace.
I just reallly need to get used to the interior feel and its layout. Maybe a short shifter, some gauges, and a working headunit are in order sometime down the road, though a new steering wheel and hub are first on the list since its just not working with me at all.

i think all cars from the mid 80's to the early 90's looked like that xD i mean the FC was patterned after the 944, i swear you could almost swap doors with those things...

I should be there. In something. Looks like the Cheeto is in need of yet another fuel pump. I just replaced the damn thing! Soooo... why are we taking the long long long way to Sonic? It's right up the road from CC!
BTW... nice banner, Lou!

Wait, which josh are we talking about here? Hellbent josh with a widebody FB josh, or the other josh that we rarely see/here from?
And just curious whats the cost of getting some race rubber in either 205/55 R16+ 225/50 R16 sizes (2 of each) OR 215/50 R16 + 235/45 R16 (2 of each again)? Looking to see if it would benefit the 'quest more to order some larger width cragars to use as auto-cross/dragon burners.

i have no idea actually... and cant imagine it will be cheap but then it depends, are you looking for like full on slicks or kinda inbetween road and slicks?
i seriously want that turbo btw xD i fully intend to collect random crap like that...

Well im looking at a set of Nitto 455's for street tires and thats going to run me about $400 +mount/balance so closer to 500 total just for 205/55 and 225/50 VR16's. But Im really just wanting another set of 'used' racing slicks/semi-slicks for autocross and dragon runs like I have for my FC

Shweet, I wont need them right away, I just need to keep the number in the back of my head for when I go lookin at rims to mount them to, but chances are itll be a set of cheap cragars that I wont care about scuffing...unless they look awesome on the car then itll be a hard descision lol

While riding the bike today I passed a house littered with first gens! In my own neighborhood, imagine that. Looks like he had a silver one that looked pretty nice, and maybe a couple parts cars or projects. Must've been the source of the FB sightings around here. I'll see about inviting the owner to our meet.
Damn Jimi...maybe you should have stopped and scribed "RX7 club knows about joo" on the dirtier windows maybe. Ill be attending monday's festivities me thinks, and probably with a big ol red hood for the time being.

I could have done that, but I've found that every time I've left a creepy napkin note like that on someone's windshield, that person stays away from us and they either sell their car or move out of the area. Then again, someone who owns more than 1 RX-7 has to be crazy, right?
