Like I said I'm not expert, but my mechanic had full boltons on his car (cant remember if he had 99 turbos and a streetport at the time too) but he said going from the stock cat to the hf cat added 40-50hp by itself so I don't think 40 over stock would be that difficult with that setup. Get it dynod tho I'd like to see.

Here's a link to the dyno sheet from Steve Kan's tune on my FD at Fast Freddy's (Santa Ana, CA) this past Sunday 10/29/06. 298hp/262 torque @13# on stock sequentials. Steve's service and Fast Freddy's were great! I discovered I'm pushing the limit on injector duty ~94%. Time to upgrade to 1200c.

Interesting... I'm putting down about that much on some different mods. With 4x850, I didn't get anywhere close to a high duty %.

you can really tell a difference in the tq and i'm guessing thats because of the timing in the PFC base mod map, which MUST be better than the stock ecu timing map

 

nice, i cant wait to install my m2/asp medium ic and get tuned. ill post the dyno sheet when i get that done. hopefully ill be closer to the 300 mark...

Looks like boost creep to me on that last dyno, and a little creep on the first one to.

 

Somebody pleas help me! I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. I want to do a turbo upgrade and keep talking to different places about a single turbo upgrade and it is really stressing me out. I just want 400+ to the wheel. I have an Apexi power fc, greddy elbow, msd ignition, pulleys, twin air intake, downpipe, straight cat-back exhaust, big intercooler. I want the To4z ballbearing turbo rx7 store.net says it will boost fairly fast. Any suggestions?

 

Take it to Gotham Racing in Dallas and have it tuned by Steve Kan. It's over 3 hours for you but it would be well worth it. He's the man for tuning rotaries and will get results no one else can.

 

Steve Kan is the best tuner, once I get all my mods done I'll sign up for when he flys into my area.

 

Has anyone every heard of having to run straight race gas if you have 350hp+ to the wheels?

I still have the stock pipe going to the muffler but have an aftermarket muffler.

 

Here's my latest. Car went back to Gotham because of voltage and igintion issues that caused severe breakup at 6,000+ RPM. Still hit the 500 mark though.
