11psi: 330.99rwhp and 277.06rwtq
13psi: 348.18rwhp and 315.94rwtq
(84% injector duty cycle- room to work with if we wanted to get more out of it at the cost of reliability.)
now get an hks twin power and run 15-16psi.

i have similar mods (all the boltons with stock turbo and motor) but with the twin power and at 14.5psi it makes 359.8. i'd run 16psi or more if i could but the car for some reason will only produce 14.5 psi...sometimes 15. oh yeah its tuned to 10.8 which i dont really like.

and get to the strip. let us know what she does.

I just had a tune done by Steve Kahn. I have a 94 FD stock twins, Greddy intake, PFC, Hi-Power and straight pipe. Those are all the mods I have. I made 297HP and 257FTLBS on a Dyno Jet at 11-12psi. Not bad in my opinion. I made 255 last time so I gained 42Hp with a PFC and exhaust.
Ooops forgot I have a Gotham down pipe also.

Damn that torque curve is sick. So your AFRs are around 12.5:1?

I'm making 280rwhp on 11PSI. RX7 Series 5 13Bturbo street port. Standard turbo, standard injectors, 3inch exhaust, front mount inter-cooler, microtech LT8s ECU. Boost controller is a turbosmart E-boost Street.

Engine isnt running lean as AFR starts at 13.5 and with WOT go to 11.

I was really stocked with these results. Was tuned on the Gold Coast here in Queensland, Australia by Dyson Rotary.

Had the day off, went to the dyno. Low 100's air temps. . 50/50 Water/alcohol injection

Overall I was disappointed, the car was spooling too slowly, missing low end...and I thought the header was falling apart again after the first couple of low boost runs and a massive exhaust leak started. Happily I just found that I lost a turbo flange bolt, duh. So the repairs are holding but I think the header/DP combo is going to the trash bin anyway. Figured I'd post up anyway.

-On-center 62-1 BB, 0.96AR
-1680/850's,
-GM 3-bar
-Dual Coolingmist S-HSV's, direct lower intake primary tube injection, fully mapped with supplemental injector driver
-Mazda Trix street port exhaust, mild Marcus Williams porting on plates (looks nearly stock but cleaned-up a little)
-Power FC
-Old school Marcus Williams header and DP.
-374whp/289wtq uncorrected (391whp/302wtq STD corrected)
-22psi, 15-18 Max Knock

Max numbers were at 22psi, suspect that I'm nearing choke flow conditions someplace(intake ports?) as the gains from 17psi to 22 were really small. My goal is to have a driveable street car not a dyno star but it's failing on both accounts with these plots. Posted anyway because the max numbers are probably pretty close to what it'll do.

Corrected. It's Dynojet anyway but this one makes me feel at least a little better.

Yeah...something is wrong there. You should be making a lot more then that at that boost pressure...

So I fixed the exhaust leak last night and figured-out the reason for the low numbers. It was the air filter; imagine that.

I spent the money on new housings, coated rotors, 3mm 2-piece NRS seals, built a custom fully mappable dual direct primary port water injection system, and on and on, and then slapped a too small eBay air filter on there...live and learn.

not bad re hp peak but something needs work re midrange. you make 200 rwhp at 5150 which is way too late. the typical sheet for a turbo of your size is around 4200.

your ports flow a bunch since your hp peak is around 7200.

there are a number of possibilities.

My 1993 Mazda RX-7 put down: 327rwhp and 262rwtq @ 6500rpms -(stock injectors ran out of fuel)

Motor: 13B REW Streetported by David Jerome (2mm Atkins cryo treated)

Turbos: Stock Twins Full Non-Sequential (12psi.)

Tuner: Steve Kan (Dynolab in ATL)

Performance Mods: K&N Filters, 3in. heat-wrapped dp, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat, HKS Carbon ti, ACT street/strip disc clutch, ACT Prolite Flywheel, Koyo Radiator, Pettit AST, Greddy V-Spec FMIC, Magnecor Plug Wires, Apexi PowerFC, Turbosmart MBC, Nippondenso Fuel Pump, Megan Coilovers, Brembo Slotted/Crossdrilled Rotors, Hawk HPS Pads, & SS Clutch & Brake Lines.

This car is my DD and I was happy with what it put down. Its came a long way and I've put a lot of hard work into it. The engine was VERY well built and the tuner did an amazing job! Next will be a good set of 1300cc's, HKS Twin Power, and turn the boost up to: (14-15psi.)

Gone Dyno tune my 94' FD nxt Saturday, what do u think how much power I could get out of following modz:

Stock engine (241hp Europe Version)
stock twins
Carbon air intake
Koyo Radiator
Mazdaspeed Intercooler
Efini Y-pipe
3' DP
3' Catback
Reliability Mods
PFC+Controller

Any advise how to improve hp? Regarding the fact that I can not install a MP and not port the engine due to the very strict emission standards in Switzerland. Probably upgrading the fuel system would be my next performance mod:-P What max. power would be possible with keeping also the boost at moderate levels?

With those mods? Around 300rwhp@12psi.

My car has been at the tuners for about 3 weeks (busted mazda speed diff/tune). After trying to get the 1680s to idle and improve off boost performance, we gave up and went for 1000cc Primarys. The car now idles, cold starts and runs a whole lot better.

When I dropped it off it made 480rwh on 15psi. After the tune on low boost it made the same power at 12psi and was a totaly different car off boost. Boost got turned up to 14psi and lost compression on the first pull .

Think its a side seal, so will be rebuilt and tuned in the next few weeks. Dyno sheets will be up asap, but its sounding promising. (this is the pump gas tune)

Got a pretty good result: 312.9 rwhp and 297.8 rw torque-the torque is actually a bit lower as at a certain curve it couldn't be messured-have a look at my dyno sheet( no clue why!) . The messuring only went to 6500rpm...shouldn't the peak be arround 7k rpm?!?

I am aware that these are some weird numbers (especially for torque) for my pretty stock fd. Anyone any idea?
The HP is probably correct but the torque is way off. You didn't have a good tach signal on the dyno. The car is also running to lean in the midrange.
