I would think a dyno run would be necessary to check that...

I planned on making it out tonight but my wife's grandpa isn't doing the greatest so we're visiting him.

On a positive note, the wife and I are under contract on a very nice house in Dawsonville, currently waiting on the appraisal and hoping it comes in high. If all goes well, I want to have an impromptu meet/mountain drive sometime in the fall...

Congrats on the house Brett. Hope that goes well. The few times I have gone thru that, it was an experience. Part of growing up I guess.

Well we should have couple 1st gens out there tonight. Who else is coming????

Good news on the house Brett, hope all goes well. You know we'll be glad to come up and park a bunch of leaking rotaries all over your front lawn.

Blood test? That's better than I thought. I was afraid you going to tell me to stick my finger up it's exhaust pipe.

The engine in my FD is finally up and running, so hopefully I'll be able to meet you guys at Caffeine & Octane or some other local meet in the next few months for real.

Fred, you need to come out to the meet and see the widebody in person. A lot of composite material used in this one. But, that intake manifold must be hiding a turbo charged 20B underneath.

Yeah, definitely need to make it out and take a look. Maybe next month. Right now, I'm nearly ready to take out the 13b out of my widebody.

3.0 RX-3, Gene
4.0 FB, Mike S., Greg the elder, New members from Statesboro, & George
1.0 FD, Jeremy

14.0 total OGTA equivalent points... let the debate begin

Wow Mike is hugging a real rotorhead there... check out those earrings and watch. Those accessories get an extra 1.0 point for a total of 15.0 for the 8/5/2014 OGTA meeting.

Good thing Ray was there to get the pics, but we're missing the crazy captions Ray. Fred and Alex, come on out, miss you guys, and we need more widebodies.

Nice work Holly, you stumbled a little on the SA credits but overall not bad. (Corrected 12A total counting the SA is 16).

You're hired.

Hey, did anybody notice that today is the 7th Anniversary of the very first Official OGTA Meeting, which was held on 08-07-2007? (See page 1).

Alex,

If I haven't gone completely senile, that's Matt. We met many many moons ago when I sold him some Enkeis for his girlfriends car. He also took a lot of measurements off my SA for fabbing a 8.8/9" rearend into the wide body. Does anyone know if the car does have this rearend? It was originally a 13BT build that went to the 'dark side'.

Glad to see OGTA growing!

Whose beautiful SE is that?!

Crit - How did you get Dena to ride the two wheeled terror to the meet?!

Looks like it was a good meet. Hate that I missed seeing everyone.

Yeah, Donnie you need to make it out. Of course, we understand you have other priorities right now.

The SE is Jorge's. A guy that Crit met. It is a nice all original car.

Sorry I missed the disassembly outing this weekend. We need more pictures and
any embarrassing stories or facts that may have come to light during the drinking
portion of the meet.

There were lots of those Tim, but what happens in Mike's garage stays in Mike's garage. You had to be there.

Yep, there were lots of embarrassing stories, probably embarrassing pictures too, but after enough beer and bourbon you can't remember the stories and you don't know how to use the camera anymore. As the professor said, "what happens in Mike's garage stays in Mike's garage."

For example, we talked about why Geo's are better than Miata's.
