Damn, things getting heated here. Sad to see. I love all of you despite your stances on politics and views. But, when it comes to shoving it down people's throats it becomes uncomfortable for all. Can't we all just get a long and leave politics alone? This is a friendly RX7 related forum and gathering. I have very close friends with different viewpoints than I do and we are still close because we RARELY discuss politics. Think about that. -Zach

I think Al Gore might be right. Haven't seen snow here in Jefferson in five years.
Tim, progress on the LE is impressive, I'll post pics soon. Believe me, you're going to like it.
Kevin, dude, how you doing? I was just looking at a bunch of pics of that pretty 4 door RX-4 you had.
We should have kept that thing, that unit rocked.
Zach, are you still nursing that white FC? She deserves it.

Looks good Quad, a bit pricey but so is everything else in California so it looks like a good deal.
I especially like the addition of the retro SA waffles, very classy. Tim will love it.

They're coming Brett, should be ready by the time the White House releases the tapes.
In the mean time, here's a teaser, Today's Progress:

Those new? I'm thinking they're original. How'd you get them so nice? Got a secret dipping sauce you'd care to share? I have all mine off right now. Like to get them that nice..
Waffles - hmmm good

A Lambo with a 4 rotor, what will they think of next?

Tim I really don't see how a Lambo 4 rotor could be half as much fun to drive as an SA or FB. Seems kind of silly to me.
On the hose clamps, you are right Paul, they are neither new nor painted.
Rather they are all original clamps that I carefully and meticulously hand polished on the wire wheel, taking care to remove as little cadmium as possible.
They were then given three washes in isopropanol, air dried and finished with three coats of Rustoleum 2000 degree clear coat.
Took me about three hours altogether, but it's details like these that pop under the hood.
And yes the hoses will all be new.

Not removing the cadmium with the wire wheel is the easy part Paul. Not removing your finger is trickier.

uh ho guys, looks like Ray's building a show car,
That's why he had to get the Jeep running first. It will pull the trailer to tow the Car to Deals Gap!!!
Ray, That intake manifold is beautiful!
Are your fingers bleeding?

That would be cool, I'll look it up. I know he did a lot of powder coating but I don't recall the cadmium thread.
BTW Robert, I'm not building a show car (though it very well may end up that way), I'm simply fulfilling my obligation to give the TW12A a good home and Make the LE Great Again.
This is what happens when some guy from Alabama stops at a country junk yard and fishes a 30 year old 12A core out of the back of a rusted old pick up truck.
Yesterday I put the TW12A back up in the tree, hoping to drop it in today or tomorrow.
Paul, look at your fingernails. If there isn't grease under there you need to get busy.
