There is a low mile FB close to me that might be a good project for someone... 88K miles, looks like it's sat in the woods for a little bit.

1983 Mazda RX7

I considered it to flip, but I just bought one of these...

Anyone going to the meet on the 2nd, if you need parts let me know. I'll be in the little Datsun pickup delivering some parts to the rarely spotted dbragg. I have a ton of 1st gen parts (mainly sa) and aftermarket 4x110 wheels (compmotive 15x7, msw 15x7, panasport 15x6) and more stuff. Just let me know if you need anything.

Even darker! Wait until you see it.

Nice house Brett. You are officially a home-moaner now. Where out in the woods do live now?

Those parts coming to the next meet sure sound tempting. Wheelz ....

This is sad news. Donnie was one of the good guys. If anyone has details on the arrangements please pass them along.

I'll be at the meet tonight.

although i've met donnie twice and emailed/messaged him back and forth several times, from everything i've seen, he was a great member to the local rx7 community. he's definitely going to be missed.

We've all met Donnie.

My first time was back in '04, when I stopped by his place in Toccoa for some RX-7 parts.

He was 16 years old, still in high school, bright and friendly and in possession of some choice interior parts, which he proceeded to give me.

He also told me, in a voice of singular clarity, that he wanted to be a professor, which I thought was a really good idea.

Last time I saw him was in the Mercer parking lot, late last year, we were swapping parts.

He had his Rav4 loaded to the gills with stuff for his trans-continental trip to Alaska.

I told him to be careful, that one of my favorite honors students, a budding ecologist named Josh Nove, drowned up there.

His waders swamped while he was bird watching during his post-graduation adventure.

Donnie said he would and he did and he came back and had a kid.

Middle name's Felix, as I recall.

We are really really going to miss Mr. Wankel.

From Donnie's Mom:

Okay for all of you that have been waiting on service plans, the service will be......

Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.

At Henderson Falls Park.
218 Henderson Falls Road
Toccoa, GA 30577

All FRIENDS and FAMILY are invited but not required to be there. Donald Bragg wouldn't wanting anyone to spend money they didn't have or risk losing their jobs to be there.

I do not get here that often but I do check in time to time. My father and I are very sorry to hear this! I bought some parts from Donnie years back and he also called me years back and put me in touch with a paint and body man. He was a great guy. Our condolences go out to the Braggs family. RIP!

I was going to try to make it out today but I've been sick the last few days so the 'Vert and I stayed at home. Still have yet to have a chance to go to any meets and meet anyone to bounce ideas off of and someone who's got a lot of contacts to help try to track down the parts I need at an affordable scale.
