Very sweet, Gene. Like Ray said, when are you coming to an OGTA meet? I've been telling people at OGTA meets about this rotor head Gene that has nice old school cars, and they can't even remember the guy.

My 7 is down at the moment, waiting on a new exhaust stud and some gaskets. I went to put my RB exhaust on and ended up breaking the rear upper stud. I'm going to have to remove the intake to extract the broken stud. Hopefully I'll have it back together before the next meet.

On another note... Anyone need some mud flaps? Just came across these on ebay. Would look good on a Repu or RX3!

Recently I just finished:

1. Switching from sillycone brake fluid to hi pro blue with a 500+F boiling temp which means all rubber had to be switched out (MC, rear cyclinders, rebuild calipers)
2. New SS lines all around
3. HAWK pads up front
4. Vented front rotors (new bearings etc)
5. All MOOG steering parts (tierods, idler arms)
6. Adjustable LCA (bad ball joints)
7. Cut one loop off all the springs to lower things another 1/4-1/2 inch
8. Made new rear bump stocks (old ones missing)
9. Replaced fuel filter
10. Alignment

And now from sitting at low charge too long while I waited on parts and did all this, a new
battery will be procured tonight. Other wise ready to go to DGRR!

Hope I see you guys there this weekend.

You're making me feel inadequate Tim.

All I did today was scrub out the engine bay on the '83 in preparation for painting and installation of the TW12A.

See you up there!

P.S. Anybody need a pretty red FB?

The OGTA's were well represented at DGRR. Had a great time. Lots of rotary eye candy, terrific drives, great food, and most of all great company.

Where do I sign up for next years event?

Yes. Sorry I had to leave early. A good time driving, but I missed the facetime. Next year indeed.

I did some of the facetime, it was great, but avoided the driving, too scary for me.

Here's some on Andy's videos of the dragon. I actually prefer the videos to being there, way safer:

Some of my DGRR time.

DGRR was great, a lot of good folks and I must have went up and down the dragon 4 times on Saturday...

Kevin got some pretty sweet shots with his flying camera setup.

There are quite a few on RCC.

The photos from the camera men off of the dragon look like they're online, too.

They managed to get a picture of someone driving a pretty sweet BMW...

I had a good time at DGRR. Made it up there fine the first day and did the Skyway in the morning but started having fuel issues once I got on the Dragon. Replaced fuel pump at the Village but didn't get more than 30 miles into returning back to Atlanta before I had to stop and call Hargerty to get a tow. Thanks to those who stopped to make sure I was alright. Car is safely home now so I'll be troubleshooting it when I have the chance.

Fred,

I know you do your due diligence, but have you checked your tank? It may need to be cleaned and coated.

UPDATE

The SA hit the ground last Saturday night for the first time in a very long time. Just threw the coil overs back on since I can't find shocks. Did a short test run, filled the tires with air, and decided to try the drive to its new home in Cartersville. We took 41 and it made it! It's in dire need of an alignment, that likely won't come until I can replace the coil overs, and the rear suspension is sitting uneven. Will give it a look over when I finish moving.

Tried to move the WB yesterday, but found out I some how hid the key from myself. After driving to Cartersville to unpack my spare keys, I found out it's not there. Oh well. Got home and took out the passenger side key lock and heading to the dealership to get a key now. Still unsure what I want to do with the WB, but I'll reevaluate that once I get the Miata prepped and sold.

One thing is for sure, I have waayy too many RX7 parts that need to be on cars. Now that school is "over", for a short time at least, I need to give the 7s some much needed attention.

Hope to catch up and see everyone soon.

Donnie, glad to hear you car is back on the road. Perfect timing too. Next Tuesday is the May OGTA meet. It would be nice to see you there.

Fred, glad to hear you made it home. Wish I could have done something more on the road.

Let's see if I can keep mine off jack stands long enought to go the OGTA meet next Tuesday.
