Speaking of DP.... Did anyone else catch this on speed back in the day.....

"At just 20 years old, Danica Patrick participated in the Long Beach Pro Celebrity Race in an effort to secure a seat in CART's developmental Toyota Atlantic Series. Patrick, who had been racing overseas in Formula Vauxhall and Formula Ford, was greeted with disdain by some. Patrick then agreed to a bet with Tommy Kendall in an effort to prove herself. Whoever won the race would get to lead the other driver down pit lane by a leash and collar. Patrick responded by leading all pro and celebrity drivers in becoming the first female pro to win the event and coincidentally the bet."

Nope have not found a picture or video of it. It has been a long time. I remember them saying she was a huge up and coming driver to keep a watch out for. She was in black leather and knee high boots from what I remember.

About Milka, she could not drive a greasy stick up a dogs butt.
The only reason she keeps getting rides is due to the Citco money she brings with her.

Hey, Danica or Milka could win the 500 some day. Helio, Marco and Mario are not gonna make it in the swim suit edition

No wonder Obama nominated a latin woman for the bench.

Hey Greg the Elder, check this out. Only $100 OBO. It's amazing the things people will do for a gray interior.

Here's the link:

https://www.rx7club.com/se-sale-wanted-classifieds-180/fs-brown-interior-85-gsl-841287/

And he's got the door panels listed for $50. Sheesh, makes me want to go back to brown.

So I'm probably liking these too much since I've actually got a little bit of money, but do you guys think these would look
half way decent on my car for $300-$350? They don't have tires either. Someone guide me They're 17x7, too...

Chad, for $100 I'll take them. You can't have too many of those red seats in good shape. Might be a nice change from the leather.

Ehh... I'm a fan of 5 spoke wheels. The only thing I like about my current wheels and yours are the color. My 7 spoke and your 10? spoke wheels
are too much. And 18" would be a little too big for me. But, I wouldn't have them on the car for a while since I need to switch out the hubs,
replace/turn the rotors, and get new pads. 215 45 17 tires are fairly common too, so a new set wouldn't be much over $200. I'd probably just buy
2 at a time since it'll be atleast a month before I could start with the 5 lug and what not. I dunno. I'm waiting on the guys reply on if he'll take $300
for all 4...

and I am loving the hell out of them.

Oh and the idle mixture screws I ordered din't fix my hesitation problem, power loss, or rough idle, and the Dellorto book told me that I need richer jets. so I pull all my jets to write down what I have now, I order the equivalent of $131 USD in parts, and I replace the ones that are in there now and all of a sudden my car drives fine. So now I have $131 in carb jets that I don't need anymore. I'm going to use them to play with leaner/richer mixtures to fine tune for more power, that might work, but I am pissed, I'm thinking one of my jets wasn't installed fully before or something.

That definitely blows, dude. The good news, though, is that you've now removed, rebuilt, installed, troubleshot, and rejetted the best all-around carb that you'll come across. It was an expensive lesson, but it seems to be a well-learned one.

You can't just return the parts Chris? They should accept them as long as they haven't been installed. But like Crit says, it's better to have too many parts than too few when it comes to carbs.

No Ray, he bought new jets in different sizes. His old jets work fine, but certainly aren't returnable to the shop he bought the old jets from.

Chris, now you can go to a dyno day and do the running jet swap that the Doritos are famous for!
