on the picture, I loosened the 3 bolts, because I thought those were the 3 that was mentioned in the quote. After doing that, I tried moving the A/C but it wouldn't budge, so I continued to loosen the other bolts that are circled in red and see if that would help make it move at all, and still no answer. I then began to think that the metal in the green would cause the problem as to why I can't move/adjust it..any ideas?

Check the bottom of compressor to see other bolts. If I remember right there are more.
Dont worry about the green items. They will not cause it not to move.

name's kevin, but here are the pics...(NOTE: I DID NOT INSTALL THE CHERRY BOMB EXHAUST). I just wanted to put that as a forewarning because I don't really approve of it not to mention it is clamped on..
I also bought a belt to hook up to the a/c to see if it still worked..

that's a completely different design than what mine r, but i'm sure they will work. guess it's one of many differences from s or gs model and gsl. i wanted to try and work out a deal for 83gslrx7's interior pieces cause all the rear plastic pieces were in good condition and not faded.
At the very least you would have to cut holes for the manual window cranks. You should try to work something out with Greg the Elder, he wants the seats and I think the rest of his brown interior is in great shape.

I got back from Birmingham today.
Sorry Brett no t-shirt, I was super busy, I didnt even get anything for myself.
All in all it was fun, They introduced the Lotus Evora to the public here. Its a nice looking car but too expensive for a 2+2 in my mind.

welp, still anxious about the degreasing and spraying the engine...spots I need to avoid with the degreaser and water are:
-Carb
-Distributor
-Pulleys
any other things that I should cover? I kinda hate the idea of standing near my car with hood popped when all that's under it, is grease and gunk haha..
