Old guys with 12As club meeting
I will see if I can get out that weekend.
Don't forget about Zoom-Fest in July!

Jeez, I go away for a few days and this post turns totally random. Let me see if I can connect some of the dots, starting with Brett.
Brett, How many times have I told you not to drive through Pendergrass and pester their finest? Repeat after me: I will not drive through Pendergrass...I will not drive through Pendergrass...I will not drive through Pendergrass...I will not drive through Pendergrass...I will not drive through Pendergrass...I will not drive through Pendergrass......
Mike is it too late to talk your friend into buying his son a 1st gen? That would solve a lot of problems. And thanks to Brett, Collin and Colin if he sticks with the FC.
Speaking of which my niece's boyfriend in Hattiesburg is looking for an RX-7, says he can't find very many in Mississippi. He's looking at a black '90 FC with a nice body but an engine that doesn't run and spits white smoke (coolant leak, right?) but at $2500 I think he could do better, especially in the FB/FC market. He'll be in the Atlanta area in a few weeks so I told him I'd shop around here for a good RX-7, anybody got any leads? Brett thanks for these:
Nice deal on an SA:

And another on an S5 GTU:

Dave I personally can't make it out to the track until I get this house refinanced (except Zoomfest) but I'm sure some folks will, any takers?
Colin, congrats on getting Sabine running. But didn't I just congratulate you on this about a week ago? Is she gettting running in stages?
Tim nice work on the silver FB, they just keep on ticking.
Crit I have several extra sets of OMP lines, just let me know how to deliver.
Kevin, what's NAMBLA?
It's good to be back!

I forgot how much random hardware I've misplaced when it comes to the RX-2 motor. I'm missing the following, if anyone can help.
12A OMP lines
12A threaded heater return boss in the rear iron
12A pressure switch, to drive an idiot light
12A rear iron coolant temp sender
12A busted OMP - just need for the end linkage, spring, nut, etc.
Aluminum spacer that mounts the fan clutch to the water pump pulley
The battery terminal brush Tim borrowed over a year ago

Dammit. I'll come back tomorrow, then, whenever you're around. Just so you don't think I'm a lush, looking for a second set of lines, it's because of the Weber. The OMP inlet is on the passenger's side of the carb, so I'll need to splice together two sets of lines in order to get them to reach. I'll give you a call tomorrow, Kevin.

I could have some fun with these smileys... Yeah I got all stalker and looked at his old posts and remembered he was the guy who's tranny was gushing coolant and saw he was like 'yeah I'll get that motor' from you in like Feb and he was telling me how he just got it a few weeks back. Hopefully he gets this bitch quick.
So, quick unscientific poll. Would you accept the money for selling a car through paypal?
-billy
Yeah, that's the concern. I said no to paypal obviously.
And yes, if the bank isn't open, I couldn't get a cashier's check verified.
Cash presents a different problem, although shouldn't be a big deal. Large deposits like that have to be reported to the IRS.
