^Always love watching your stuff peejay. I've grown up a child of the dirt, racing my friends with BMX bikes, later graduated to four wheelers and dirtbikes. Would love to look into SCCA Rallycross because of you, keep the vids coming!

I took apart the entire rear portion of the interior of the blue parts car.

Then started heavily researching the 12a rebuild with a port

Nice to see Speedhunters is plagiarizing old articles from other online magazines. "Journalism" at its finest...

let the rain wash it for me, thats about it. it has finally stopped leaking fluids, but i think the transmission is due for some new gear oil, maybe along with the rear end. also, my idler arm bushing is going again, might need to order the mood idler arm and hope it fixes the problem of disappearing bushings. need to get to work on the interior, as the drivers seat is destroyed, and my left side speakers are blown. muffler is sounding nice, love the crackle and pop you get after a nice downshift. also ticked over 132,000 on friday right as i pulled up to my house

I have GOT to try that one of these days. It seems more compatible with my driving style than regular autocross.

Edit: as far as my SA or FBs - well, I looked at the SA several times and sighed as I moved shed-building materials past it this morning. (Needs a new engine.)

Yesterday and today I am sorting out a stereo. Pulled the door cards and installed mdf pod I made on them. I removed the map pockets. And discovered they are in fact an after thought to this specific car as I can see the pencil marks and such when they measured it. The map pockets are gone now

I didn't take pictures but ill post a final installed pic or two later when in done.

Picked up a few items including these primo omp lines, not gummed up or brittle in the slightest.. Got the dome light working, and I snagged an extra set of wheels/tires for the winter.

Was a gorgeous day here today - - rained yesterday, so the roads were clean, and it was sunny with big puffy clouds and about 68 degrees. So I took the ol girl out for an hours romp around the area.

Such fun!

Remade the heat shield/ cold air box to fit around the strut brace. Pretty happy with it considering it only took 30min with rudimentary tools. Still need to polish it and deburr the edges. There is a 5" vacuum hose and elbow feeding it from under the car. It was worth a couple psi manifold pressure in crisp weather, so much better than sucking in hot radiator air. The lower half looks a bit dodgey cos i made that to suit the old fan shroud which is now gone.
Cleaned and polished up the stock wheels last week, got the tyres refitted, went and ripped some skids at an industrial estate last night.
Need to clean up the drip tray and put that back in.

Wax job. Also tried replacing the wipers but book at store was wrong. It said to reuse pins in blade assembly, but the pins not detachable from current wipers.

You might just need a more capable rear shock. I run short bodied Bilsteins on mine and love them. I miss the adjustability of the Illuminas, but the Bilsteins just plain work, whatever I'm doing with the car.

Nothing sadly and probably nothing for awhile as I got a DWI on Saturday driving my friend home in his car. I had two beers in the spam of 5 hours and got pulled over for an illegal lane change. Did sobriety test and breathalyzer and blew a .13 . Not sure how but it is what it is and I'm gonna have to just get through it. I feel so stupid and ashamed for it though :'(

^^^ brutal man, don't worry though everybody makes mistakes, learning from it and moving forward is key. Besides, at least for all intents and purposes, you were following what is supposed to be the golden rule of no more than 1 beer/hr.
You think you feel ashamed? my brother got a DUI while incoherently stumbling around his car while it was parked in the middle of the street in front of our house. The car wasn't even running but since the keys were in the ignition and no one else was around... Busted.

I don't know what it is officially called, the interior light? Overhead light? Cabin light? I always just called them dome lights, but yes the section that contains the swivel light and is connected to the rear view mirror had a slew of issues. So I cleaned a few connections and attached a broken wire and now it's partially functional. (Still more work to do on it)

Thanks man! Yeah it's gonna be tough but I'll just have to work through it. I guess I really shouldn't freak out to bad since everybody keeps telling me it's not the end of the world. And I guess it's not? I mean it's still gonna suck but it's not the end of the world. And that sucks man sorry that he had to go down like that

I have heard that those who get a lawyer to deal with a DUI come out of the situation in significantly better shape than those who don't. It's like you have to buy your way into the "get out of jail free" club. Good luck man...

Breathalyzers are noy very accurate. I belive a bag of salt and vinegar chips will make you blow over. Has to do with the way they convert the breath alcohol to be measured with a subsrance that converts alcohol to vinegar.

Hey don't worry abuut the DUI I got one back in January and thE trial didn't finish till late September. I was only supposed to have no license for 45 days but wont get it back till Feb. Passed all the field sobriety test and had two cops say I was ok to drive myself home, but there supervisor had other plans, lol.

Infact I know 2 people in town that were the passenger of the car and got a DUI they hadn't even been driving when they got pulled over.

I gave up on my SA today... I'm gonna find a B2000 engine or just an A14 with transmission. Screw rotors.

I'm even gonna take a picture of a rotary engine and print it on a big piece of card board... Then I'll put the cardboard over my perfectly tuned running A14. Then people will wonder at how I have a running rotary engine. They will be amazed as I put MILLIONS of miles on 0 rebuilds. Little will they know under the cardboard is a good engine.

Well I don't know what to do, can't afford to get a lawyer, best I could do is a public defender.. I heard that here in New Mexico a lady sued because the cops here took her in cause she blew over 5.0, but at the station a few minutes later she blew a 0 cause shehadn't been drinking. The cops here aren't certified to calibrate the machines. When I did my breathalyzer at the station I did it no more than 30 seconds after the guy ahead of me and they didn't calibrate it? Should I have my defender bring that up?

I could post this every day on here

Will hopefully be washing, waxing, setting up a portable car storage tent, and putting the Tornado Gray 84 GS up on blocks today. Will keep the Blue 82 GS outside and keep parting it out since it's unusable. Sad day when the 7 won't see sunlight again for 5 months - stupid MN winters!!
