Got the shifter turret filled up with a little over 3oz of RedLine MT-90 after cleaning up the grit caused by torn boot seals. I put some lithium grease on the upper pivot ball, replaced a broken spring washer on the lower bushing then put on a new lower boot seal.
Swapped my Dellorto back on to the SA for DGRR and other reasons. I forgot how loud it was and the kick it has when you give it the beans.
My first rebuild was a 13B 6-port with the stock FC EFI. It already had Racing Beat's Streetport exhaust and sounded pretty tame.
For some reason the EFI never worked right so I switched to a Weber DCOE and change in sound was very dramatic, it really growled after doing that.
I went with Porsche Irish Green for the repaint and it came out great.
I replaced the alternator. I know, big deal, so what, how boring. But the thrill of seeing the idiot lights not being on is priceless ! And so is seeing the voltage meter change when the engine is running.
