spent 3 hours driving home in the rain last night, took wrong freeways, sidestreets, etc. i have probably the same sense of direction as james may. new muffler will be coming today, i ended up going with the 2.5 inch because RB wouldn't have had the 3 inch in stock until december :P getting that installed tomorrow, will make a before and after video.

Made repairs to air damn.

The fender is ruined but should get me through the winter fine.

I'm gonna pull the damn off and reinforce it with fiberglass as a patch. I will also be using steel bar stock to make sure it won't rip again.

Yes potholes. Wilmington delaware is real bad and they ripped up the street I work on and did spot repairs for two miles. Even in the jeep it hurts driving on it.

^^ what muffler did you get??

Installed act prolite flywheel 6 puck sprung and heavy **** pressure plate yesty. Feels good! No more slip either! The sheer weight of the p/p kind of cancels out the super light swiss cheese FW tho oh well cant have everything.
Had to max out the adjustment on the master cylinder tho. So this morning i thought it couldnt hurt to install the braided clutch line i'v had lying around.
Got the old lines off. Didnt lose or spill any fluid. Slave and master still full. Put the braided line in. Go to bleed the line in the conventional way. Nothing. Pedal goes to floor. Tried compressed air but cant get a good seal.
any tips?

Try vacume... You might have a colapessed line.

Use a bicycle inner tube wraped around the blow nozzle. It will hold a good seal

I got the 2.5" universal racing beat pp muffler, single outlet with a turn down tip welded on, sounds awesome and feels a lot more responsive

Haha

I drove her around the yard a bit, getting ready for winter. Started drafting an engine hoist and stand, since we don't have one currently. Will be fabbing one up myself, another interesting project. Heavily researching rebuilding, and cant wait

The small filter at the bottom of the fuel pickup line in-tank on the left is the one I need and can't find! I hope the link works. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=107640

Quick question about respeed sway bar!

When adjusting the end links for it which direction is which? Right now I'm at full tight at links, is this full tight on the bar itself or is it full lose? I'm gonna go all the way out on them to see if it helps my binding issues while turning

Thanks

What kind of binding issues are you having?

Do you have the Re-Speed rack conversion?
If so and the problem is tire scrub when turning at low speed, like in a parking lot, it is not related to the sway bar, it is a steering geometry issue.

The Re-Speed rack set-up turns both front wheels the same amount, which does not account for the need for the inside tire to follow a smaller radius than the outside when turning tight turns. A setup that turns the inside wheel more than the outside is said to have "Ackerman effect".

Yeah that's the issue but when I'm turning the sway bar pops very loud like so I wanted it softer.

I also lost the caps to my rear tokikos so I can't adjust them either.

So another respeed product problem here but the worst is the front bbk. I needed to add 6mm in washers to make the calipers fit the rotors.

Anyway I'm trying to sort it all out do potholes wont kill me (literally).

Next up, adjusting my watts links. I was just gonna go full tight on them.

You cant adjust the sway bar to be softer. The only adjustment it has is for proload. If there is popping sound when you turn you have a dfferent problem.

Ok. Got the whole front end lock tighted and assembled. Now I need an alignment again because I'm getting tire squealing from moving forward instead if just turning. I think my wheels might be facing outward or something. It also is creating understeer.

I think it's off by 1/2" or less
