Just an update... It didn't work out that I could go skiing, so I'll be coming next saturday to our meeting... if this weather permits. LOL I'll have my friend Amanda (cute chick that's going to Tail of the Dragon with me) and a friend of mine, who hasn't been to our meetings before, so we need to make him LOVE the rotary! He's been doing a bit of research to understand what I've been talking about, so he'll get to drool, too. Maybe some pretty FD's will come... for once.

But yes... no meetings without Stina are GOOD meetings! See y'all there.

You're bringing two people? Is someone riding bitch seat under the hatch? I've had people do that before and my passenger didn't find it too comfortable. That's what happens when you try to bum a ride off me though..

Been there, done that, actually Amanda has ridden in the hatch at the beach when Scott and I were down there... but I too have had the luxurious experience of riding back there myself. Imagine... all 5'10" of me crammed in there. Lordy. Lots of leg, little hatchback space.

Actually, I am only going to have one passenger, because Amanda will probably meet us up at Char-Grill after she gets off work. I wish I had a 2+2, cuz I hate picking passengers I want to ride with me... I love my car, but gosh... a two seater doesn't always help. That's why I refuse to get a Del Sol. (Even though they have a targa top... *envy*) My dream car's the Supra, but I can't afford insurance on em....... yet.

I'll stick to my dinky $1,500 FC for now.

I should have known better. I just can't picture you in a Santa suit, posed seductively in the back of your TII with your nipples showing. That is not the picture I had in mind, now if you can talk a beautiful woman, I think Johny will be rooming with one up at Deals Gap and he even order an XL shirt for her, then I'll go for that picture. You stick to writing songs.

Watch it, you own an FC, there is nothing "dinky" about your car, maybe it has a lot of unrealized potential. If she is cute and needs a ride to the drive-in then I am sure that we have some guys that would be happy to give her a ride. She hasn't turned 17 yet so Josh might be willing, although she is a little too old for him. So you're gonna bring that beautiful, very unique FC back to the Char Grill, yeah.

Heard from Scott, how is he doing?

so anyone coming to the show in Greensboro on Sunday? My manifolds are finished so I can go ahead and start puting everything back on the engine. My turbo should be getting here Wednesday, so the ETMD (Estimated time of Motor Drop) should be before that next Monday, I hope. I still don't have a fuel system for it, I think I am going to go with the Rotorsports fuel system they offer.

Look under the bargin bin for the 3 rotor racing engine, 1000 rwhp, and the price is cheap?

Steve, when you're working on rotaries you should have good ventilation, open some windows or doors, turn a fan on and get those fumes outa there. You breath those noxious fumes for very long and you kill brain cells buddy. You start forgettin' things like when drive-ins happen, where the bathroom is, to unzip your pants when you've found the bathroom, and to zip up after you're finished.

The only thing I can help you with is Drive-ins happen every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each and every month and we've moved the time up to 5:00 pm to get a little more twilight for the meets. Yes, I know the FD guys, if they show up at all, will be there late but what can you do?

Hopefully those fumes won't affect TOO many of your brain cells... I'm still around, ya know... I don't want to see any of y'all's "eccentric shafts" at the meets... eew.

Newho, yes, I love my FC... but somehow I don't really see her as being beautiful. She's beautiful on the inside (engine), which is what counts... but on the outside, she's going through puberty. Hopefully I will be able to afford to let her blossom a little bit before Tail of the Dragon. *giggle*

February 12th is actually my birthday guys. I'm turning the highly useful age of 20. I finally heard from the guy about my nitrous kit, and he said he sent it out last week. It should be here soon I hope. Who knows, maybe on the 12th I'll be spraying.

Hey, riding in the hatch is a respectable thing. I recall many moons ago when my bud had the RX-7s instead of me, I had to ride in the hatch all the time, mostly because I was usually the shortest. I'm still 5 feet 10 though. Holding on to the luggage straps for dear life, hitting my head all the time. Fun, fun stuff.

I will admit, driving one IS slightly more fun than riding in the hatch.

damn, must be nice to even have that alternative.

someone would have to be pretty desparate, and small, to crawl in the back of an FD. Though if they are really light they can sit on the bins.

hope everyone is doing well.

I should finish powdercoating and start reassembly this weekend.

Engine should be back in by the end of the month.

WOOT!!!

A lot of people own FDs but its the running FDs that count. So get that thing on the road and lets see it again at the Drive-Ins. Josh, once you get all the mods done and it roadworthy does that mean you'll actually get to the drive-ins on time? :0)

You mean that that car has actually been dirty at some point of its road life?
