Ha, I stay on the 4th floor of Bragaw and I drive an FC that I bought from Steve aka Smoken' off the forum. Right now my foot is messed up and I can't even drive the damn thing... it's just sitting in the Valpark lot next to UT, the white one with the huge Apexi N1's out the back if you're out that way. I'll be at the drive-in though Saturday night with Jeremy, who will have his dad's sick tight FD. It's the blue one with the huge FMIC.

 

I will have to look for your FC out in Valpark, thats where the focus that my brother and i currently share is parked. Yeah i am in 417C in Bragaw. I will look for you guys on saturday, i should be pretty easy to spot, i think i will be the only one on a sport bike.

**** i'm in 403D. My FC is pretty close to Hillsborough street actually, behind Gumby's and the tatoo place. You can't miss it on a Friday night when everyone else's car is gone. I haven't even driven it since last Tuesday, but I'm going to the doctor today at 11 AM about my foot. I'll see you on Saturday though.

GRR!!! ahh, the only thing that would make this weekend better is if we got the money for the red car this weekend! its been soo long since i've had an FC to play with i've started building a turbo kit for my toyota corolla..... yeah, that means im pretty bored, and that i need somethin with 4 seats! IHI RHB5 and high comp pistons= low boost but real quick spool up. hopefully good for 200hp.

 

Guys, once again I may not be able to make tomorrow's drive in. Seems like they always fall on saturdays when I'm either out of town or have something going on. And the next one (I assume the 25th) is the same day as the annual World Beer Festival ! Wonder if we can incorporate the two into a single event ? LOL Oh well, can't blame me for trying.

I hope you guys get a good turn out of FCs. Especially convertibles. I have a Racing Beat cat back on order right now so hopefully I'll have that installed soon enough. My 14+ yr old mufflers are falling apart. I almost lost the driver's side exhaust tip the other day... Nice huh ?! It's tack welded on until the new parts arrive.

Anyway, ya'll have fun. If I can sneak up there for a short while i will. I'll be the one in the 90 red vert .

Well fellas I start my vacation today. Can't think of a better way to start it off with a nice cool evening in the presence of you guys and your sevens . I'm off to go spend the day with my son. You definately won't be the only one there, so don't worry about that. I'm bringin a new MB FD tonight. He's a real cool guy but he doesn't like talking about his car much... he may just tell ya'll he's stock.

No, thats not the same guy.

There are are 2 guys at State that already have a single turbo, one of which has graduated last year or two years ago. There's a guy named Brooks that says he has a to4r single turbo and I believe him about that, but we got into a heated discussion over the phone one night when we were drinking and he gave me two different stories about his car. Basically, I don't think his car runs. (I know for a fact that it didn't at the time but I'm not too sure about now)

 

i must have gone to the wrong char-grills cause i saw NO ONE. so either it was a super bad turn out or im a retard cause the only char-grill on atlantic i saw was the one by sonics.

sorry i didnt make it out tonight guys. it was my mom's birthday, i forgot, actually I even thought the meet was next week. I need to quit drinking so much. hope everyone had a good time.

Capn the chargrill where we meet is off strickland. I am also sure there were at least 4-5 guys out there. There were that many on the night after the hurricane. If i had to guess probably closer to 10. Our group is NEVER that lazy.

 

There was a good turnout tonight. Two guys with to4s's popped in and we had the usual crowd as well minus a few and plus a few others.

 

That was my first Drive In and there were some sweet RX7s out there. I won't make the next one, but will definitely be out again soon. Great job organizing these events Bert ! Nice to finally meet you and some of the others on here. Steve, I can't believe you're letting that Turbo II go !

I know, i'm just not happy with it. Don't get me wrong, i love the car, but i want something faster, and its kinda redicules to upgrade the turbo on a motor with stock ports. The car runs great, so i dont want to mess with the internals of the motor. Plus, money talks. I can build one heck of a street machine for what i have been offerd for it.

You also have to realise that i love working on them more then i love to drive them. The best feeling in the world is when u spend hours doing something and then get to drive it. Thats what does it for me. Its gonna take me a long time to build what i have pictured in my head, but thats part fun.
