I randomly came across some meet photos from way back when, which led me on a trip down memory lane. Thought I'd share a few.

Those were the days, thanks for posting Brett.

That one with Donnie squeezing his nipples is my favorite rotary pic of all time.

Zooomfest 1, I believe, sometime around 2009.

If anyone gets some of those new fangled 12A rotor housings please let us know how it goes!

Here's some interior shots, I've added a loft on one end for storage. Check out that homemade lift!

That really looks great Ray! Sounds like a spring OGTA christening party is due.

that was listed once before, selling for only half of what he previously bought it for. if u check that link to the original ad from 2021, it was listed with 859 miles and sold for almost 48k.

Nice FB but as a rule I don't spend more than $1000 on a first gen. I'll make an offer but it may not be enough.

interesting, and within price range but still a little much for no engine/trans. drive shaft may or may not be there. then there's the cost of transport. wouldn't know where to find a hood. would like to see just how much rust is in it. missing fuel door but i actually have one.

You'd look good in it, Michael!

Are you going to DGRR? Would be nice to see you, it's been a few years!

That would be nice. I do have a 4 port laying around, but it would be a crying shame to have it sit in the grass outside my house. I haven't the garage space.

Any of you kind OGTA folks have some parts to help me on my journey of peripheral portation?

12A front cover
S4 auto rear counter weight
electronic distributer (no J109's required)
48 or 50 mm DCOE or any side draft webber of the greater than 48mm diameter (no intake manifold needed)
Also, MAYBE an oil pan for a 13B (year doesn't matter)

I don't think I have any parts James but I'll look through my junk for ya.

I thinned the stable and said goodbye to the T2 yesterday, it went to a rotary guy who drove it home to Florida last night. He previously had an FC 20 years ago, was super glad to get back into one. I am happy to have the garage space back but will miss that shiny red paint!

Needing help finding tail lights for 1979 Mazda Rx7

Hello everyone! I’m working on finishing a 20 year project restoring an SA 1979 that my Dad got brand new in 79. I’m in need of help to find tail lights my dad broke them(he was sick) and I’m unable to fix the tail lights. He passed away few months ago and it’s my goal to get it finished this year!! Any advice or extra tail lights we can work out a deal, I also have some extra parts too. The 1979 only works with the 1979 and 1980. Please let me know and Thank you!

James, I have a 12a front cover for you. If you're going to DGRR I'll bring it, otherwise I'll put it in the mail, let me know.

I'll be around up there in the mountains.

Ray, you can take a ride next year in the new car.... The rotary gods are willing this one to happen. Still haven't figured out the starter motor situation; it'll either be a 1/2 impact gun on the front bolt, or some kind of integrated starter/generator thing.

I'm even using an FB copper radiator. I have two of these radiators so why not?
