I second that though.. nothing like the smell of a premixed rotary on cold start first thing in the morning.

My V8-loving coworkers like to make fun of my car though.. saying it's a glorified snowmobile or it has the engine from a washing machine... they talk a lot of smack, yet none of their trucks or v8 sedans can hold a candle to my 1.3litres of fury :-P

As much as a younger me would like to engage you Ray, the older me says resist. Too much kool-aid in your system to accomplish anything more than a perpetual argument. I think Crit had it right though.. the lounge is full of leftys and rightys to give you enough sugar to enhance your diet. I'm not biting that hook Ray, not even nibbling at it. Nice try. As for Nikki's? Not me. A pair of webers maybe or even a Holley or two but Nikki's are too passé for me. Fattened up=better but stock is just not enough juice. Had one, done that. Reliability? Without question.. performance? Not so much.

 

Well, for the record Paul, I've contributed more to OGTA and this thread over the last ten years than anyone else to make it interesting, provide useful information and keep it going.

Trump is just the current topic of conversation and concern, we can all hope for better days.

Indeed, I've contributed literally thousands of times more than the Loud Few who would silence me, who drop in once in awhile because they need something.

I dare say, I'm keeping OGTA alive as we speak, although I'd have been content to let it die years ago.

But people keep clicking and commenting, it drives me nuts.

And for the record, Crit is NOT right.

Anybody is free to contribute anything they want to this thread, to click or not click, to comment freely.

In fact they are encouraged to do so, hopefully without criticism or personal attack.

Praise Trump or Trash him. Del Horto's? Well Nikki's are better.

But here's the problem.

Donald Trump is a serious threat to the welfare and survival of our country, the country I know and love.

And this bothers me deeply.

I realize my Republican friends may not want to hear about this fly in their ointment, but it's true.

You may have a different point of view; if so I'd be interested to learn and promise to be respectful.

I don't offer Trump criticism freely, only in response to fishing (if you don't believe me, review the record, I only respond to prompts).

So if you don't want to catch a Snapping Turtle, don't fish in my fishing hole.

Let's let others carry the thread for awhile, I'm sure OGTA will be better for it.

 

Ray, I'm not disputing your claims. I'm not refuting them either. We live in trying times. We've been here before and we will weather the storm. I've heard stellar comments about your contributions to this thread and I have gone back and read countless pages in order to better understand the mindset of OGTA'ers. None of this is in dispute. It's just that you hurl so much of the same thing constantly on this forum that frankly it just gets boring. I try to change the subject but to no avail. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood because my 7 is still on jackstands. The ultimate departure from any of this has been an evening drive to nowhere and now I can't do that till I get my radiator situation remedied. Yeah that's my excuse.. frustrated FB lover. I'm going to walk away from this thread for a while.. maybe it'll heal itself. While I'm gone try reading anything from Dr Judith Curry former chair of Georgia Tech School of Climatologists and recently resigned. She was a God of climatology till she questioned the "science" of current world held views. From Kyoto to Paris it's all been nothing about our atmosphere and all about new world order($$$$). I'm signing out for the duration. I've got parts all over the floor of my garage. When the big flash in the sky comes I hope to be revving 7000 and shifting into third. I'm sorry Ray, but you seem to not be able to leave well enough alone. I've fought an unpopular war, despise politics and don't elect to engage on things outside of my control. I don't ever knowingly pick a fight with Dena at home because nothing good comes from it - who wants to fight? My only recourse is to block you here on the site. You also shouldn't decide to come to the lakehouse. You won't be welcome.
