Old guys with 12As club meeting
The fiance and i are planning on being there. She couldn't care less about cars (or 12a's) but shes a taco mac fanatic, so whenever she is going to be off work on an OGTA night, she is quick to remind me. haha
Fantastic Ben, I'll make the trip down to the Taco Hack, we haven't seen you in ages!
I still have that Holley, I'll bring it along in case you still can use it.
Bring your raincoats!

Since I finally have a job again, this should possibly be the last meet I show up in a boinger. Hopefully Ericas red vert will act right with the wipers so that she can finally have it out to a meet, new parts haven't arrived yet.
It looks like the Rotary Gods are smiling and will hold off on the rain this evening, should be a good time.
Yesterday I fueled up the Mazda3 and Protege5, 35 gallons of regular for $19.22.
I guess we can thank President Obama for the low fuel prices.

Definitely helped out by the $1.00/gallon discount we get from Kroger for buying lots of crab legs each month.
But still, even at $1.54 a gallon it's cheap.
Michael, we need to get you an Old School so you have an excuse to tool down to the meetings once in awhile?
The Rotary Gods are truly smiling today, look what I found on Business Insider:
Mazda has over 100 engineers working on a breakthrough on one of the world's strangest engines - Business Insider
The rain chances in Buford keep going down for this evening and with temps just shy of 70 degrees it looks like an excellent evening for sniffing rotary exhaust.

See y'all there, I've loaded up the camera with fresh film.

2-2-16 OGTA Report:
Not a large turnout, but more than made up for in quality.
Topics covered were: Retirement funds, Mazda 808's, facebook, security details, DGRR, Holleys, the 1%, Holly and erectile dysfunction.
And the rain held off to the very end, here's the pics:

Stu lives!
Whats this WE stuff?
Why no 7?
Whats the other mazda, a miata?
We need answers!
Good to see you poke your head in here again. Let me know if you come up to
Charlotte to visit family.
The real question is, does he still have hair down to his butt?
Speaking of Stu's, the one out in Alaska just posted this link for an auction that includes all kinds of incredible rare Old School rides and parts:
https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-gene...n-sad-1095727/
http://auctions.storagetreasures.com...es&featured=no
So Michael, now's your chance, rent a truck and trailer and head on out to Kyle!
PS, the owner of all that rotary stuff was at the OGTA meeting this Tuesday and he (she) is sitting at the table.
Can you guess which one?

And yes, I will show in the Miata
The Protege blew a headgasket on the way from charlotte to bama, replaced the engine and the rings are bad in that one. Shop won't refund me the money for a busted motor.Other than that, got a house now. 2 dogs. Garage full of parts and tools. 3 cars, 2 bikes... Been fun!
I ride up to charlotte about 3-4 times a year, definitely need to meet up with the I77 guys!
if you need any help working on the 7 let me know

The 7 is on jackstands right now, debating a brake issue at the moment. Nothing has changed with her though.

Nice, a huntsville guy! Whereabouts do you live? I am off Winchester and Shields
One day I will have the 7 towed to the house, currently residing at my uncles place. Been rebuilding the carbs on my bike and have noooo garage room!

And the dogs are German Shepherd and a rescued Chocolate Lab. I will post pics later when I get home.
How has everyone been? It has been a while, are you still feeding goats beer Ray?
I am in toney. how far is it from your uncles to your house. I have a couple trailers and I can help
Need pictures of the dogs and the new hair cut. Please post pics.
The only thing that's changed since you've been gone Stu is that things are less stressful and less fun.
Drinking with the goats is about the only action going on. Except when Robert comes to town.
Mike's been good, he's webbered his 12A, you'd be impressed. The girlfriends are harder to understand.
Holly is still convinced that men aren't worth the trouble, except at rotary meets. But I've half convinced her that some can cook and are good for other things.
Tim is still causing trouble wherever he can, whenever he can, which is good.
Crit and Billy are retired, they both donated their REPU's to the Melbourne Rotary Museum and are busy raising the Next Generation.
Jeramie still has trouble deciding which rotary to drive at night.
Gene brings his 2 to the meets once in awhile, but he never tells me when so I never see him.
Brett drives an FD now and only socializes on facebook, we haven't seen him at an OGTA meeting in ages.
And I'm still working on the White One III.
Did I miss anybody?
How 'bout you?
