I could see that. If so, joke's on him because it's been on craigslist for at least 2 months. There is a red 1st gen about a mile behind my house -it's sitting in a mud hole in the woods with about 10 other cars around it. I'm tempted to ride the four wheeler back there and check it out.

I looked at this pretty FD today. After seeing it in person, I found that this one in particular was not exactly what I am looking for but it was nice to finally drive one... The wife said she still preferred the FC over it, so I've got some convincing to do

Brett, ill be riding up to help you if you decide to try to do something about the sad FB in the woods. And for that comment about turbo II, I vaguely remember Brett saying something about how he preferred NA, I mean you could always buy a convertible....the ladies love the convertibles....

For a decent S5 turbo, people want so much money that you could almost buy an FD!

Ray, that sweet red 85 GS wouldn't cut it. I want something that goes 'pshhhh' when you let off of the go pedal.

I'll let you know how it goes, I looked at an ariel map and should be able to ride right to it. As for the next rotary, see the comment above!

'pshhhh'

???

What ever happened to 'Zoom Zoom' ?

Nothing better than the feel and sound of a Nikki on hard deceleration.

No computers, no squirters, no vacuum cleaners to mess up the throttle response.

Zoom Zoom.

Very cool. Still no pshhh though. You could trade your Miata for it, I bet it would make a nice DD!

On another note, I think the OGTA group needs to start a pool to get Ray back into a FB. There's a nice silver one right down the road from him...

That can be fixed. I'm sure Ray has a spare Nikki that we can mod for a blow through application.

Funny, today I was just checking on the Nikki's out in the shed, there's about 5 good ones waiting for something to do and lots of spare parts.

I've been talking with Tim about starting a Nikki mod company, Red Neck Nikki's is what we're going to call it.

That silver car is tempting Brett, I do believe I'll stroll over and have a look at it.

RedNeckNikkis.com looks to be available

I checked out the mud hole FB last night. It's a red S3 GSL automatic with a grey interior. It looks like a lot of parts have been taken off of it, and the windshield has a 8-10" hole in it, so I doubt the interior is in very good shape. With the stripped parts, trashed interior, and automatic transmission, I figure it's not worth saving. Around it was a 80's Mustang, 70's Toyota Corona, 70's Honda Civic, an old S10, and some other cars. Kind of neat.

Be careful out there in the Ga woods Brent. If you hear or see some kid playing a banjo, run!

I'm not sure how it would get towed out of there. It's down in a hole about 200' from the nearest street. I only saw it when the trees had lost all their leaves a year or 2 ago.

Who's going to the meet tonight? Temps are supposed to be in the upper 50's around 6-7 PM. I'm trying to convince my little brother to ride out.

Sorry guys, I need to head out to Jefferson to vote.

I wouldn't want to miss this opportunity to contribute to the Democratic landslide.

I wondered if you were stranded on a mountain somewhere!

Funny story- I voted at lunch, and right before I got into the building, a guy holding his ~1 year old kid was puked on in the middle of voting. So he left the booth mid-vote to go clean up in the bathroom. So some little old lady was barricading his booth until he got back. I made the mistake of choosing the booth beside his, so when he walked back in to finish voting, I got to smell vomit while I hurriedly finished...

I'll be there tonight. If anyone needs any Mazda OEM NEWparts, or Used parts that I can deliver tonight, give Mazmart a call soon and prepay. We have regular maintenance parts too, including filters, fluids, etc. 770-455-4848 mazmart.com

I had to get an OEM Battery last night to get there tonight. Best prices.

See y'all tonight. And you can vote before leaving home in the morning, Ray. Or did you even make the drive inside the perimeter today Ray?

I was at my desk at Mercer at 6:00 am this morning Holly and then teaching until noon, then a couple hours in the lab, so I had to wait until after work to vote.

By the time I got back to Jefferson I had just enough energy left to punch the buttons for Michelle and Jason.

Plus a couple Libertarians and something about not raising the GA state income tax.

Did anybody listen to Rush today? He was in fine form.

Like a chain smoker, except instead of cigarettes he lights up lies, one right after the other, all day long.

It was hysterical, high class entertainment indeed.

Or as he calls himself, the "EIB Network", "God's Gift to Broadcasting", yada yada yada...

Y'all have fun tonight. And somebody post some pics!
