Dudes, check out my new SA.

Only 57,000 miles and I have a top rated SA mechanic doing the work. The power antenna even works.

I'll be driving her up to DGRR this weekend if you guys want to have a closer look.

It's probably because it looks a lot like that new SA that Robert got.

For about 3 seconds, I really thought you had bought another first gen...

How does it feel to be back behind the wheel of a rotary, Ray?

Nice, very nice.

And this one is super sweet, faster than any of my FB's ever were.

I really like the way the secondaries kick in early in the throttle response ... zooom zooooooom!

Robert's got a winner there, see it up at DGRR!

The White One III is on the back burner not for lack of interest, I can assure you guys.

I just need to find a little time and money (mostly time at this point) to put her togther, which should happen soon.

Cameron I'll be around today, tomorrow and Wednesday, after that we're heading for Deal's Gap. Send me a pm to work out a time if that works for you.

I'm sure the rotary community would meet for a communal 'laying of the hands' on if you wanted some help!

On a related note, I've been pondering how I could get back into a rotary and I think I have a plan...

Yeah, you shoulda kept that sweet red GS you had!

So what's the plan Brett?

If you wait until you find and can afford an FD, you'll be Old for sure.

No RX8's or pretty red GS's ... Bimmer is going up for sale in a few weeks, and I hope to get into something like this...

1993 Mazda RX-7 FD3S Touring

Or if my senses kick in and I realize it is silly to spend so much money on a garage ornament, I'll end up with something like this...

1991 Mazda rx7 turbo

I'm hoping I can ride in someones FD at deals gap, I've only ridden in two and driven one.

Those are both unreliable cause turbo. Get an FB, preferrably with a nikki and have
reliable transportation. Get an SA and it just gets even better because you will have
waffles.

That's the plan but I may be leaving the vert at home and only bringing ericas fb with us, was going to do rear wheel studs today but between my buddy cancelling on me, and then finding out that I can't get them in without tons of part replacements, looks like it will be a while before I take it long distances.

Hi everyone, just in case you were looking for me today I went back home. I had my shoulder operated on in February and two runs on the dragon to go and do the Friday check-in ended up being more than I wanted as my steering is manual. It was nice seeing everyone again.

best regards

Michael

The OGTA Cabin on the Mountain had a great time, as usual.

And all participants (Mike, Robert, Tim, Tommy, Erin and Ray) are safely back home, planning for next year.

I think we even have Tommy talked into replacing the Miata with a 1st gen.

I'll post some pictures when I get home tonight.

^nice find, looks really good. but is it really an SE with 12a swapped into it or a non-SE with the SE suspension swap? can't imagine going from FI 13b to 12a. if issues with the FI, i'd just carb the 13b. but i guess if the 13b is blown and all u could find was a running 12a.
