Alright, alright, I'll shut up about the BMW...

I have a good (tested) S5 alternator you can have for $50. Are you going to make it to the OGTA meet next Tuesday or were you just going to ride up to Rays one weekend?

If it were a year down the road I might be seriously considering this... It's exactly what I want... white exterior, 99 spec front bumper and tail lights, black interior, back seats, low miles...

Just looked the calendar and it looks to be a rotary filled week. Sunday, go to the center of the rotary universe (Jefferson, Ga) and meet Leknaw (Carlos). Tuesday, you guessed it, Shrinking Kilt. Who's coming out Tuesday?

 

I just talked with Carlos today, he is heading up to Jefferson tomorrow with lots of parts and goodies, so anyone who wants to come out to Jefferson, meet Carlos, have a beer and say goodbye to The Ghost please stop by in the early afternoon, 1-2 pm would be best.

Zach I think he said he's bringing the 13B along so folks can have a look, so if you (or anyone else) are interested let me know and I'll put you guys in touch (his PM is down for some reason).

I'll be at the Shrinking Kilt on Tuesday, got a date with the LBW.

Please forgive my lateness and lack of communication for the past three days. Somehow, I got myself banned, kick out, lock out, with no access to receive or send anything on the RX7 club.

I have attempted for the past three days to communicate with the administration with zero results. You will think that we 10 years on the forum they will have the courtesy to let you know what they are about to do and if someone made a mistake, they will take care of it within reasonable time. But after three days, no one seems to be home or willing to help me out.

Thanks to another member Stevan, I was able to get Ray's contact info to ensure we can iron out the arrangements for tomorrow.

I will bring the parts that are already committed, plus the 13B in case there still someone interested. Anything else you guys can think about get Ray a buzz or get my contact info from him and let me know tonight and I'll get it packed up.

I'm on it. I see the problem with your account, but I am not able to fix it myself. You are not banned or anything. It says "awaiting email confirmation". Not sure if you tried to change passwords or anything like that. It probably went to an email that you no longer use. I have contacted some admins to fix it for you.

June 1, 2014 OGTA meeting photos

Carlos stopped by to pick up The Ghost. Mike stopped by to help load it. Wife Cathy made sure we did it right.

Carlos hauled off The Ghost and left a 12A and a Holley for me to play with.
If wife Cathy hadn't been there I might have gotten the 13B too.

Here's the 12A count:

3 FB's = 3 12A's (MIke's Blue One, the Ghost and SPW1)

1 Wife = 2 12A's

2 Wankel's in a truck bed = 2 12A's

1 12A in a tree = 2 12A's

1 Holley that works on a 12A = 1.5 12A's

1 out-of-stater (Carlos, from Southern Georgia, someplace in the Soviet Union) = 1 12A

1 guy who still lives in Larryville = 1 12A (Mike)

Total 12A count for the June 1 OGTA meeting = 12.50

^^ It will be tough to beat this 12A count at Tuesday's OGTA meet. But, if Ray were to pull the 12A out of the tree, stick the Holley on it, and install it in Flipper before Tuesday, that might just give us enough 12A equivalents.

Who's coming Tuesday? I plan to be there and sound like Ray has a date with the LBW.

Hey Carlos,

No problem. You should have got some verification email at your new email address, but maybe it went to spam or something. In terms of the contact email address of the site, I'm sure that goes to a blackhole or something. Just not sure if it is configured correctly or not. It is best to contact a mod directly via PM (you can get one of the old guys to contact me if you were to get locked out again, etc.).

For Crit's 10-year rotor, he needs to contact an admin for that. The system is setup to put the 10-year rotor in place for "normal" users, but it doesn't work for mods, super mods, admins, etc. It has to be set manually.

Thanks! Starting too take care of her. I am going to start a list of all the parts I am going to need to see if I can get her on the road in the next 18 months. That will be retirement present.

Wish I could have made the meet last night, but work got in the way!

 

I am working on the 12A count from last night. Maybe tonight I'll have it doen with pictures.

I know who was not there...

I have some FB parts that are free to a good home- stock dizzy with ignitors/cap/wires, 2 stock coils, a gutted pre-cat with the split air tube for a GSLSE... I think that's it.

^ You guys need to read the "Name that 12A mod" thread. Ray has people all over trying to figure out the mods one of the many 12As he has dismantled.

Ray, I give up on trying to post pictures from last week's meet. I am dropping out of the club and selling my 7. Or, maybe I'll wander out to Jefferson and you can help me.

BTW, I might have some clippers for Gene's new car.
