Old guys with 12As club meeting
It was good to hang out with billy + family and Holly at Longhorn Steak House....... Still waiting for my salad though.
Back home and wish I was still camping.

Here you go Ray, a perfect GSL SE in your colors of choice... I can't seem to find it's mileage, though.

Notice no shots of the underside? And only minimal shots of the interior, with none for the back hatch area?
She claims there are no tears or cracks in the interior, so what's that Walmart steering wheel cover doing hiding the "mint" red leather SE steering wheel?
Where did those GS seats come from? And where did the mint red leather seats go? Perhaps a few cracks and tears?
And did she mention that the paint is a cheap Macco respray?
Owner can't have a clue about FB purity. Who knows what other violations are in that car?
$6,500? For an improperly maintained 150,000 mile+ SE? (If the mileage were less, she would have reported it).
And worst of all, no 12A.
That red GS you had a few years ago was a nicer, prettier, more worthy example. You should have held onto that beauty.

I can't make it, gotta work.
To bad about Geraldo not getting the 4, he looks so good standing beside it:

Tim I'm not jealous about that SE for sale down in Florida. I'm married for life to the 12A, no more checking out 13B's and fuel injection for me.
It's just that I'm a bit wary of Craig's list ads that only point out the good things about a "Classic Immaculate" RX-7, without mentioning the obvious faults (like what is that mileage, anyway?)
Especially when all of the "immaculate" features need an asterisk beside them (no "tears or cracks" in the interior, because the torn and cracked stuff has been covered up or replaced with inferior parts; "cleanest engine you will ever see" - she hasn't seen my work; painted mirrors, yeeech, and so unclassic; and did you notice that missing radio ****?)
Buyer beware!
Y'all have fun tonight, take some pics if not to busy with the waitresses.

That last picture is a little... odd.
If you're still thinking about going away from the stock X wheels Ray there's a local craigslist ad that might interest you... 1st Gen. RX7 Konig Rewind Wheels

Those are nice wheels Brett, if only I hadn't spent my allowance for the next five years and my wife would kill me, I'd buy them in a second.
I'll check them out on my way home from work tomorrow, thanks for the link.

OGTA isn't dead, but I'm beginning to wonder if all of you old guys are. Or do you need someone to help push your wheelchair from your hospital bed to the meet?

back in the 80s i bought an rx3 from a junkyard with no title. it being a SC car all i needed was to take the DMV the vin # and get the address of the last registered owner. DMV lady said send a registered letter to them explaining i bought the car and needed them to get a copy of the title, and that the best i could hope for was the letter to come back unopened, which it did. then it was just a matter of filing for lost title. i figure this will be the same type of situation only it's a GA car so will need to get that address from GA DMV.
