Like Ray said, the Old Schools will rise again. When all these projects get finished up, or at least driveable, we need to coordinate a rotary blowout meet. Sounds like Chad has repented and gone back to Old School. If we can get the NC and AL contingent to join in - I see a 12A record. If anyone can remember how we count 12A equivalents. Ray keeps changing the rules.

well remember I still have 3 79's, one being a full ReSpeed car soon to get a new heart. The other two are spares or projects for a later time.

The brown gsl-se was not my intention to pick up but could not pass up a full gslse car that runs. Not to either part it, gut it and track it, or fixup and paint. Its getting parked until my SA is back up and running.

I think if the cars age and your age adds up to 40-50 your allowed in! Or if you have several rotaries and they add up plus your age to 100...... he he I meet that one.

Only somewhat unrelated, can anyone explain to me why dictators are unpopular these days?

Mr. Brown sent this from his C771 using RX7Club app.

My repu is only mythical cause you cant figure out facebook Ray.

REPU should be back from paint in a few weeks. Will be a joyous day at the homestead. The wife will wash and wax it. The kids will dance in the driveway singing. The neighbors will all visit one by one throughout the week to spread the joy they feel with its return.

OR

No one will notice........

OK I went to facebook and put "billy waits" in the search box and, along with a request for donations, got this:

Is that the one Billy?

Mr. Brown, dictators are actually kind of tasty when they're French fried. Have you ever tried one?

As far as that demo 12A goes, I'm thinking it might be worth the $1000 if the housing and rotor are new, as they appear to be. I could use them for my rebuild:

Hey guys long time no see, got to share that the 3 is possibly going out for restoring this fall. Im really thinking of changing the color on it. What you guys think about the new gecko green on the late model Chrysler car? You don't see that many green cars anymore and that color looks very similar to that lime green back in the old days. If anyone has any suggestions on other colors or knows the actual paint code that am looking for please share.

I guess that Sky Active stuff does have some utility. You can use to haul rotary parts to the machine shop...

Mike and Michael, I'm still short one 12A rotor housing, Rick nixed the one with the minor flaking on the edge but said the good one was good enough. Let me know if you know where I can get another one.

The rotors look like they will be fine and Rick is lapping the flat housings. Both the rotors and housings will need new eshaft bushings.

Looks like we're gonna' build a 12A.

Dudes, the ebay fairy visited Jefferson today, look what he brought me:

I couldn't read the badge on the b pillar, could it say "LE"? Only 5k of them were shipped to the US for 1983. '83 Limited Editions only came in Chateaux Silver with a burgundy leather interior, a badge on the b pillar, and the 14" honey comb/BBS-ish wheels. If that's the case it makes me wonder what kind of altercation it was involved in to lose the wheels. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this info.

From what little I know, I would agree with Ray's assessment of the situation.
