Hey. Are any of you OGTA's going up to the B3R this weekend? It's shaping up to be a magical event. Here's the link:

https://www.rx7club.com/blue-ridge-r...-plan-1006664/

Gene, Crit, Donnie, Greg, Tommy, Dean, Alex, Fred, Brett, Kristy, Billy, all you FE dudes with nothing better to do?

What could be more important?

Bring some camping gear, we're gonna' have a sing a long around the camp fire and you won't want to be driving home after that.

We meet at the Shrinking Quilt at the GA Mall for the early folks (8:00 am I think, but ask Holly) or out at Wally Mart in Commerce foe the late sleepers (8:45).

I'm telling you, this is going to be fun.

Great meet at the B3R this weekend. You guys won't believe this, but even Ray made it. Check out Ray's pics in the B3R thread. If you have never driven the Blue Ridge Parkway, you need to do it. The drive was great. But, I will have to go back and do it again driving slow enough to actually appreciate the scenary.

I wish I could have made it out with you guys.

We did some digging at my grandmas house not too long ago and found a bunch of things like NOS Mazda jackets, brand new Rotary Rocket magazines, a bunch of new dealer lithographs and tons of files from her dealership.

Nice stuff Alex, it would be cool to see some of it in person so bring it along to an OGTA meeting sometime.

It was a great weekend in the mountains, the Rotary Gods were smiling.

Here's some pics for you dudes who are getting too Old for road trips:

It's that new thing they're doing with voter suppression this year Mike.

What you need to do is register in a more Republican district, the line's are shorter and they give you a free candy bar.

OGTA Meeting next Tuesday. Be there or Be Square.

Does anyone here have a 1st gen master cylinder for sale TODAY? I'm suppose to have this car on track tomorrow, it's stuck in my parking lot with a blown master cylinder I think, hissing from that area and no real brake pressure. I rebuild the rear calipers after a leak, worried I messed something up.

He did but it sold, I think I need a booster actually. I found a MC at a local parts store available in the AM and a booster available from another store by tomorrow.

I'd miss the test day but....

EDIT: They lied, won't be here until Friday.

I believe I still have mine off my IT7 car, I could check after I get off work if you are interested.

I have a new one on the way now BUT I've been told I can just not run a booster?

I'd replace the master and then block off the vacuum from the booster?

Anyone seen this news? At first I was skeptical when I read it this afternoon but Paul from Mazmart put it on facebook later saying it's the real deal...

Oh... Now I know what is taking Ray so long to get The Silver One II on the road. Yamamoto-san is sending him a 16X motor for his project. Good move Ray.

When I looked at it yesterday I only saw the first 3 paragraphs, I completely missed the rest of the article... I was wondering 'where the hell is Ray getting this from?'

16X motors don't have carburetors, so they must suck. And if it costs more than a Mazda3, forget it.

We need a new FB for the common man, not the 1%.

Mazda needs to get off their butts and start producing 12A rotor housings again.

JMHO.

Fuel injection on the 16X is a temporary problem. You can rip that off, I am sure RB will come out with a intake manifold, and put on that Del Horto you have been jonesing for. Of course that may lead to a GM/Ford ignition system, but what the hey.

It's a slippery slope. I'll be sticking with my 12A's. They understand me, and I understand them.

I'm going up to Road Atlanta today to see Jim Downing race his 2 rotor C-Sport. He runs in Group 8. Anyone else going up? It costs $25 to get in for one day($15 if you're an SCCA Member) and $5 to park. Here's a link to the schedule

Holly you are such a party animal! I'm still trying to shuffle the calendar to attend the November OGTA meeting.

Will he be running later in the day on Sunday afternoon?

Group 8 finished yesterday. There will be trans am racing today. Clink on that link and it has the schedule, no Group 8 racing today. See you Tuesday Ray.

Holly, you know I haven't learned how to clink links yet. Is that anything like Face Book?

Looks like we're having some out-of-staters coming in for the November meeting, some Carolina boys and girls from down by the coast.

Last I heard he's taking his FB passenger seat out so he can put a 12A in there and then's going to show up at the OGTA meeting with a rear axle in there.

Should be interesting.

OGTA! I need your help, again. Yes. Again.

Can someone swing by Juno's place, and pick up my RX4 and tote it to Ray's place? He said he can store it for me until I get back from my deployment to Guam, but he won't be able to pick it up for a while, and since her mom is storing it currently, she wants it gone ASAP. I'll throw you money for gas and a trailer rental if need be. It's only a rolling chassis, no motor or trans, so it'll have to be pushed onto the trailer probably, unless you've got a winch.

Just shoot me a pm, e-mail, or whatever. gallo.kevin0@gmail.com

Thanks guys! I know someone can help me out!

Kevin

P.S.- If I can't get it moved soon, I'm gonna have to turn around and sell it, and I really want to get back into the rotary world! I already have beautiful plans for it.
