I must have been reading your mind Alex, see my other post. I will add it to the OGTA repository, my only back up now is from an 83 and I don't think it's the same as the 84/85 tanks.

lol i just saw your post. I have had like 4 people PM me asking if i could ship the tank.

I would rather it go to a local OGTA member

Ray, If you want you can come and pick it up in Powder Springs or i can bring it to the next OGTA meet for you.

Dang! Won't be making the OGTA after all. I really wanted to but life is getting in the way.

Ray I'll take a raincheck on the room at the Jefferson Inn.

That sucks. I was really hoping to check out your car at the meet, next time.

Two wheels down, and two to go. I just need to wet sand, apply the color, and clear them. I hope to finish them tomorrow.

Color is Metallic Caramel.

Now that is going to work. Big Time Contrast on the SA. Even gives Dave's copper something to think about.

Tim, you sure you're not coming down? Could be an SA meeting.

Gene, I have a question. How come your post count always sticks at 69?

It's not something about sex or anything, right?

Some days I'm close to chickening out and going back to blurple instead. Screw it, the kids can repaint it when I'm dead if they want.

I believe I've made that point several times myself, I love that color. Can't wait to see it!

Hopefully Dave will have the Phoenix painted to match by then and can make the trip down too. Before it gets too cold this time Dave!

I did not fall off the face of the earth. I took some vacation last week and I am just now catching up. Hope to see everyone at the July OGTA, but there is a chance I may need to go to something with Michelle that evening. Sounds like July is shaping up to be a good meet.

Mine( FB) will not be painted until after the REPU for sure. The FD is in primerw/guide coat. Still battling a seam that keeps splitting. Nothing of mine is getting painted until the REPU is done is how I see it.

That color is one of the most popular colors being used in the industry right now. ( And variations of it)

Any OGTA members need Redline or Hawk brake pads? Mazmart is having a special.

What'd ya' hit Holly? Got pics?

I'm just redoing all the brakes on the Silver One, I got all new stuff (front & back rotors, front & back pads, front wheel bearings) from Rock Auto for disgustingly low prices (see below).

Quick shipping and great service (they had to ship the outer wheel bearings three times, anybody need a pair for an early '50's Alfa Romeo?)

But I'd still be interested in what the Hawk pad upgrade would cost, got MazMart prices for an 85 GSL?

Figure it's a good time to do a complete brake bleed and install my stainless steel brake lines while I'm at it.

Might even repaint the calipers. What'd ya think guys, Hot Pink?

Should be ready to go for the July meet.

I like that comparison... lol

I may have convinced my younger brother to get an FC instead of a Mustang. We'll see how everything goes, I'll know for sure if he's getting it or not tomorrow.

Wow! Hope that works out. Just make sure your there to help him figure things out and it should all be good.
Charles has a Black 90 FC roller (missing motor and trans) with good interior. Could get it cheap with TN title.

Any idea how the firebreathing FB color compares to the GM color?

Sad, the Gray Goblin has a sore lip. We can lay a little OGTA love on it at the July meeting Holly, maybe it will go away.

Here's the deal on the pads. The complete set of organics, front and back, from Rock Auto was about $20.

From what I'm seeing the Hawk equivalent would be about $140 or even more if you pay stock prices.

Good brakes are great, but do I really need to stop that fast? For the $120 bucks difference, I'm willing to anticipate the traffic a little.

Am I missing something?

The red line oil is looking good, do they have 50 gal drum discounts?

Crit and Dave, can't wait to see the REPU, hope you went with the copper tone

I saw that thread on here, very tempting. He's only got a grand and I was going to loan him a few hundred to get the last FC, but after some convincing I've got him to wait until he's got closer to 2K and then get a car.

I'd be happy if he got an FC- I'd finally have someone to unload all these parts on! haha
