Hey, thanks to all you guys for all those kind and generous birthday wishes. I had no idea. Kind of reassures me ya'll are just kidding with all that Ray bashing. Right?

Mike, of course those videos were blocked by the CDC, that's what I'm trying to tell you. There's been a military-industrial conspiracy against rotary engines ever since Reagan was in office due to the obvious potential of the Wankel to destroy the Texas oil industry.

And yes, by clicking on those videos you are now black listed too. Don't even try to get a bank loan, my friend.

But Uncle Wankel will win in the end, you'll see. The hydrogen powered turbo Wankel is just around the corner.

I was there, too. I saw the RX-3 parked back in the corner, but none of the rest of you. I couldn't believe the turnout - very cool. Jeremy, if you remind me again next month, I'll be back.

Let us know how it goes Roland, our thoughts are with Khloe and the family, it must be an awful tough time for you guys. Kids are tough, let's hope for a fast and full recovery and Khloe back home soon.

This is a pretty picture Crit, if only some of those Old Schools would show up at the OGTA meets we could be getting the 12A count back up into double digits like the old days. And personally, I'd like to take a closer look at that FB, hopefully at the September meeting?

Ray, that FB belongs to my next door neighbor Vance. I was lucky enough to drag him out to caffeine and octane with me. Needless to say, the car had been sitting for over 2 yrs in his driveway prior due to some mechanical issues. So being a nice neighbor, I offered to worked on the car and promised to get it running, and a couple days later, a new alternator belt, some spacers, a new battery and some carb tuneup, its on the road again better than ever!! Anyway, we plan on crashing the OGTA meet with some new and old school rotaries you had never seen before.. =)

Speaking of Old School, is anybody thinking about taking in the Atlanta Historic Races at Road Atlanta in mid-September?

Could be fun!

A couple of Mitties under your belt and now you can't stay away from the track.
Can't blame ya, if I only lived 15 minutes away I'd be there all the time too.

Damn Tim, looks like those government agents took away my links to the Atlantic Historic Races.

Here's a new link.

http://www.hsrrace.com/

For that reason, I will be there, checking out the best cars humanity has produced.

Screw you government agents.

I have been fighting an ignition issue for most of the summer. After methodically working my way through the whole system, wouldn't you know it was 2GDIF that crapped out... Let the FC bashing begin. JK

Ray, I have some debug parts to return to you. Maybe a lunch time return at Hunan?

Yep, the FC parts will always be the weakest link for sure, but FC coils are cheap and easy to find so they are still the way to go.

Just be sure to keep a spare coil pack in your rear storage compartment, like I do.

Lunch next week would be great, are you interested Dean? Others?

Zack hope you can make it to the September meet!

I think some Chevy and Ford ignition components might be the ticket Mike.

Cute Greg, Republican ad makers are pretty good at making nonsense sound appealing. I'll share that with Cathy.

But in reality the Donkeys aren't listening for a reason. All that Roger Williams dude wants is to work their butts off all day for a couple flakes of hay.

It's those Elephants you've got to watch out for and their trickle down economy.

It's a metaphor for Trickle Down Economics Brett. It's not supposed to be taken literally.

One the transmission mounts, I think you just take the nuts off the mounting bolts then carefully jack the engine and transmission up an inch or two. On the FB you can also just support the tranny then drop the brace out from under it to change the mounts.

Maybe easier said than done?
