Some of our best FB's have 13B's in them, just ask Crit.

Thanks Dave and Brett. Remember: Older is Better!

Thanks Mr. K and Mr. C! Seems like a lot of rotorheads have birthdays in August.

Kevin III, the meetings are every first Tuesday of the Month at Jeffreys in Suwanee around 6:00 pm. The next one is 09-01-09, for the numerologically inclined).

Maybe Gene will show up, he has a GSL(SE) with a fuel injected 13B, something I want to talk to him about with my 12As acting up. Also I think Chris has a 13B under that del Horto carb of his.

I knew I'd seen DA **** before!

Yep. I got the 84 GSL-SE. It's nice, but has it's flaws.

And I'll be there! Thanks Ray.

Brought this up at the lake house. Thought I'd post a reminder in case anyone was actually interested.

Title: Monthly Mountain Drive

Date: Saturday August 22, 2009
Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Repeats: This event repeats every month on the fourth Saturday.
Next reminder: The next reminder for this event will be sent in 5 days, 2 minutes.
Location: North Georgia Mountains
Notes: The route changes each month, being generally decided right before leaving. =-) The meeting place is the Starbucks just east of GA400 at exit 13. Please be ready to leave by 9 AM with a full tank of gas. This drive is open to anyone, not just Lotus drivers.

I went to the ABKS meet yesterday. Now I know where all the 2nd gens are. And, those guys are beating the hell out them. I am proud to say that our own Brett and Allen were out there smoking their tires until they they screamed.

I was the only 1st gen there and did not want to show up all the second gens, so I decided not burn my tires to a crisp.

Truth be told, I was intimidated by what they were doing and felt like I could use a little practice before embarrassing myself in public. Also, I kind like getting 60k+ out of set of tires.

Tim I've belonged to an active retirement community for the last two years, it's called OGTA.

Thanks Holly, Roland, Tim and Mike for the birthday wishes, I've gotten more this year than in all the preceding years combined.

So here's what I went out and bought myself today:

I really didn't know what I was doing either. I've always played around in parking lots in the rain, but never on dry pavement, so I was trying to learn there too. My poor back tires are toast, now Fun meet none the less.

GO RAY! I need to get one of those for my FB!

Just got my 85 SE back on the road. Will you allow 13B's and 60 somethings to your next drive in?

Oh yeah. 85 13B is worth a whole point towards the 12A equivalant count. And, sounds like you will contribute to the old guy count too.

See you Sept 1. We'll get Ray to explain the whole 12A equivalant thing. Its really complicated and I don't have enough initials after my name to understand it.
