Old guys with 12As club meeting
Thanks Mr. K and Mr. C! Seems like a lot of rotorheads have birthdays in August.
Kevin III, the meetings are every first Tuesday of the Month at Jeffreys in Suwanee around 6:00 pm. The next one is 09-01-09, for the numerologically inclined).
Maybe Gene will show up, he has a GSL(SE) with a fuel injected 13B, something I want to talk to him about with my 12As acting up. Also I think Chris has a 13B under that del Horto carb of his.
I knew I'd seen DA **** before!

Oh, we already have a 3rd Kevin. He has a blue RX-8. He showed up at the July meet, after work, I think you were already gone then Ray. And Kevin showed up at the Lake House meet too. So many Kevins.

Brought this up at the lake house. Thought I'd post a reminder in case anyone was actually interested.

I went to the ABKS meet yesterday. Now I know where all the 2nd gens are. And, those guys are beating the hell out them. I am proud to say that our own Brett and Allen were out there smoking their tires until they they screamed.
I was the only 1st gen there and did not want to show up all the second gens, so I decided not burn my tires to a crisp.
Truth be told, I was intimidated by what they were doing and felt like I could use a little practice before embarrassing myself in public. Also, I kind like getting 60k+ out of set of tires.

Tim I've belonged to an active retirement community for the last two years, it's called OGTA.
Thanks Holly, Roland, Tim and Mike for the birthday wishes, I've gotten more this year than in all the preceding years combined.
So here's what I went out and bought myself today:

See you Sept 1. We'll get Ray to explain the whole 12A equivalant thing. Its really complicated and I don't have enough initials after my name to understand it.
