Ahhh... I can't speak Italian. I'll have to get Ray to decipher all these Italian Numbers for me.

But I can tell you the Nikki gets 18-19 mpg in town and 24 on the highway. And with the ReSpeed CAI setup (shameless plug for Billy) and a K&N I have found cigarette butts and leaves in air cleaner cannister. The intake seems to be working pretty well. I keep expecting to open the cannister and find a Honda one day.

I also get about XII (in the city) on my Del. Mine is as jetted from Racing Beat.
But it does get around XXII on the freeway. A big difference, so I think a lot of the low city mileage must be caused by my semi-heavy foot.

I'm down for that. If you just want the money you could go ahead and sell it, but if it's not a biggie I'll barter away I don't think the girlfriend's coming home this weekend, so I could possibly come up Sunday and help ya'll out a little. Sound good?

AND my elephant man eye's gone Sadly, my grandma washed my cell phone this morning, so I'm stuck using this crappy old school one till my new one gets here hopefully Friday or Saturday. But my college classes are good- I go Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:05-2:30, and Tuesday night 5:45-7:30, but tuesday night I'm going to stay up there with some family so I won't have to come back home then head back up there Wednesday morning. So I'll have some spare time still. Hopefully everything's gonna be good!

Yes I've got the header Ace, but it's practically new, chrome plated and very expensive. Let me extract the exhaust from the Silver One and take some photos, if more than one person wants it we'll have a lottery (barter labor rate is $10/hour). If interested, listen closely, this bugger is loud

I mean Yayo

and it wasn't honking. This guy had a loudspeaker installed in his car, so he was talking to me over this intercom thing. I had to lean out of my window to yell back

Well he did know a good bit about 7's. He knew it was an 84, and told me to take care of it, since they're his favorite cars.

Ok, ok, I like having one fairly quiet car. Kevin's got my dibs. Still want me to try to swing by Sunday though? That is, if your open. Let me know!

Ray, tell me you have swapped your RB exhaust to the Silver one. I remember when you fired up MS. Silver when I was down there like a year or two ago, with nothing but a header and Borla ProXS under it!

Stu the silver car had the full magnaflow/borla ProXS set up with the 2.25" pipes when you heard it then, like I said, it's loud and it needs to bolt up to an RB header. With that set up it's about like Brett's FC, which is a favorite of the Pendergrass Police. I will be swapping the RB system in this weekend (so if anybody wants to hear the borla in person before then let's make arrangements).

As I said before, if more than one person wants the magnaflow/borla system for $100, we'll have a lottery with a drawing at the September meeting conducted by Holly. No returns, so please listen to it first!

has nothing to do with italian, it's roman numerals. everybody learns it in elementary school. M=1000 C=100 L=50 X=10 V=5 I=1. if the smaller value is to the left of the larger value, u subtract:IX is 9, 10-1. XXV is 25, LI is 51. coming back to ya now? and stu's XXXIV is 34.

Stu may have meant it - he's an intermittent hypermiler.

Sorry to clutter your thread guys, but here is an update on the FB resto as of 1 hour ago.

2 coats of sealer to start things off. Hopefully shooting primer tonight. We'll see how it plays out.

OK Dave, now I see why you needed to get that harness out of there. Very nice work!

I think Stu uses a grappling hood to get his XXXIV mpg, he hooks onto trucks going up hills and then coasts back down.

A little vert help

Anyone have experience replacing a convertable top on a 7? My buddy with the vert is going to do that this weekend.

Are there any tips or tricks?

Does it require any special tools?

How does the soft top attach to the hard top section?
