I just got back from a salvage yard that has a few 7's at it up here. 2 GSL's and 2 FC's that I saw. I think there are more. I grabbed the brake booster and m/c assembly for the new disc brake rear end going under the FB. If anyone needs anything let me know. No shorty rads unfortunatly.

Dave, if they've got an S3 car with a grey interior, I need the defroster grille for the driver's side, which has the VIN tag on it.

I know one was a red interior and the other was a black car with I think a red also. I'll check next time I go by. Maybe soon. All the engines are still there so I may go snag those.

Hey, I want some of this action. I'll through the Gray Ghost, with AC, up against the silver one and Greg's Del Horto.

I'm way ahead of you Dave, fully functioning video is loading. Yes, Mike, It's Alive.

Those flashes at the end are my extra sparks, I couldn't figure out what to do with them so I added them to the end of the vid. Pretty cool, huh?

I promise I'll have encouragement pictures soon... I've been swamped lately. I'm loving the video, Ray. I'm glad you got that one running so soon. Sounds a little different though- is the RB header and single muffler on there still? It's awesome regardless

And one more thing- I've got a buddy who's getting this together. It'd be great for a few OGTA guys to make it out there this sunday. Bring a helment if you've got it Should be entertaining!

The flight path makes me beleve that is a fake. To straight and long of an arc for the distance traveled. Some math wiz engineer can probably use a formula to figure where he would have landed. Notto mention the kiddie pool would have just caught all his parts when landing from that high, that quickly.

But funny none the less!! Travis Pastrana uses KY when they do his "slip and bleed" at his compound. A few fractured necks have resulted from his slide

Wow that's terrific, sure looks real to me. At first I was worried he might slide of the side of the ramp and hurt himself, but then when I saw where he landed that option was looking pretty good.

More video of the Silver One, she's idling smoothly and sounds good, but I can't get it down below 1000 rpms. I suspect a vacuum leak somewhere, I need to pick up some starting fluid on the way home from work.

Ray, is starting fluid what you use to find a vacuum leak? I couldn't remeber.
Does the engine rev up when you find the leak?

You can use starting fluid or brake cleaner. Ideally, something that doesn't leave a mess behind, and preferably flammable. You'll go from lean to rich when you find the leak because you'll block off the leak and introduce fuel. It does a lot to change the engine note and revs. It's a quick and easy way to find the leaks.

I've used carb cleaner as well, but the starting fluid seems to give a stronger signal. I'll do a video when I check it this evening.

Thanks Billy, I forgot about using the propane torch! That'll save a few bucks on starter fluid. Look for the propane test this evening, right here on your OGTA channel.

Mike you're a party animal.

Mike, that thread says it is August 16 at 2pm. That is Sunday, not Saturday.
I was thinking of going over as well.

Propane torch?! Ray you're gonna blow yourself up!
(or do you turn the gas on without lighting it and move the end of the torch around?)
