I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
i think sandrock, that your stuff is mega sexy, is that your new project? and listen up everyone, i am throwing together a dyno day with my new found business partner, and it is on june 20th. there will be prizes, trophy's and cash. im listing the classes we set up below:
1/4 mile
1/8 mile
drags as listed:
top HP 4 cylinder
top HP 6-8 cylinder
top HP rotary ( i set this up for us guys)
Top TQ 4 cylinder
Top TQ 6-8 cylinder
the top five out of the drags will have a chance to compete for further prizes, and 100 bucks. so we should make this the june meet. i have arranged for a mobile kicten to be there for food support. lol because i get hungry. it will begin at 9:00 am and end around 6:00 pm i will be running the dyno half the time as well, so it will be a very eventfull day i do belive. to enter it will be 40 bucks for three dyno runs for hp and TQ and 40 for the drags. so what do u guys think?

Sounds good guys. If everything goes good with Long today, we should be the only Turbo FBs there! Still haven't pushed mine over 7psi yet, but should still put down some good numbers.

Next meet is the second Sunday of the month which would be June 14. Not sure where tho, BK still ?

its a very nice spot, and we got a revision on the prices. if you wanna do two power pulls and a drag then its still 40 bucks. it for three pulls of what ever configuration you want. the way this dyno is setup right now, its good for 1000 hp. the dyno can handle over 2000 tho' but he doesnt have it calibrated for that. its on the left right before the drag strip on performance dr. then first right and the shop is on the right cant miss it. we will have lawn signs to point you the right way
Just glad that Long is such a whiz on rebuilds. If I had the funds to open our own shop, we could be putting together some awsome engines. With my porting, and his assembly skills...........

I'm cool with that Andre. Just have to see what everone else wants to do. Long calls me last night with the beautifull sound of brapping in the background. I still could not believe that the engine had a bad rotor bearing with how much power it was making. Even Andre can speak up on that one Just glad that Long is such a whiz on rebuilds. Whoever broke into your cars is after FC parts. They're not too bright because 7s are really easy to get into as Dave said. Of course most crooks aren't too bright anyway.
I'm up for the dyno day, $40 for 3 pulls seems fair to me. I've always been curious what hp numbers I actually put down.

Well BAD NEWS GUYS!! I was driving the FB when I seen smoke coming out the back of the car . pulled over poped the hood and seen oil coming out the side of the motor!! So I got it home, pulled the motor back out, and took it a part to see that the rear iron was craked in 4 places!!! So I guess that the turbo is to BIG and to much boost for the 12A. New owner here, could use some help with a carb rebuild, or if you want to trade for a good stock carb I have 3 or 4 bad ones layin around, and lots of other parts, if you need anything. any help would be awesome, I'm on I-40, exit 113.
