2 Very long Days in the paint booth. But The fc is now yellow again. It went from waht it was, to sanded, repaired a BIG hole that was rusted thru from previous painter. Then it went solid white. All just so I could paint it yellow again This time it is a MAZDA FD CYM yellow( Competition Yellow Mica) With alot more silver pearl in it for my own blend. I have the mirrors and wing to do yet but it'll be done for the trip this weekend. I'll try to get some nice shots of it on the Gap.

Pics will be up tomorrow as there was still too much spray mist in the air in the booth tonight.

Next car that gets painted is the 65 Comet , Then the FB, Then the FD. Jeez, I am glad I don't work at a "real job" anymore

That's how you have to run them in some SCCA classes to be legal for comp. Without the T of course But you could PP it like most that run them.

I think any T4 Garret section should work. I would have to look for the rear wheel dimensions to be sure but I believe it would work. I'll think it over, I appreciate the offer. Still have a few hundred more miles of breakin.

My current hot side is a 1.00 Tangential with a V-band. I can cruise up sometime with my parts and see what's up.

The weather will be 95+ and sunny. So it should be a great day for it other than the heat

Lets start a list for whose coming. Remember this is our monthly meet as welll as a dyno day.
So come on out even if your not doing the dyno. I haven't made a meet in months and
I'd like to see everyone out there.

Just repost this with the your name or handle added on. Common lets make this a meet to remember.
As an added bonus there should be lots of ricers to make fun of as well

1. Josh
2. Sam
3. Tim
4. Andre
5. Edgar
6. Stu (come on you know you want to even if you can't do dyno run)
7. Robbie (?)
8. Kory...wont be in a 7 though....

How much header wrap would I need to do my headers (RotaryEngineering 12A similiar to the RB street port with the dual flange)?

Looks like its sold in 50 foot and 15 foot in 1 or 2 inch widths. Just trying
to figure out how much I need to buy.

I plan on being at the shop around 9:00 am. I want to get there early to help Andre get steup. Hopefully I will have a small group going with me. I found a local guy right down the street who has a S5. The car had an engine fire, and he needs an engine harness. Cory, I have been keeping up with Derrick as he has been working on the SA. I hope to see the old girl back to her former glory.

I would think the 15 in 2 inch would be good. However the M/C headers I have wrapped in the past always took me about twice what I think it would. So if the budget alows for it I would grab the 50 2inch wrap. That way you can sell me the remainder Also grab some safety wire and safety wire pliers that twist it tight. The wire will keep it from spreading apart between overlaps and looks pretty racey!
