The hardest part is fabbing an intake I would think. Can you sit em side ways and stack an IDA on it? Just a wild idea.
Sideways would be for a DCOE. Hell, you got your alternator moved, just stick it up top and do some swirly manifold trick using the Coriolis effect or something for max power.

I dunno. It would be interesting though.

Not feeling the front dugouts for the lights. The sides are hard to see.T2 sides look great with most kits IMO. I like the diffuser. It's the RE style for the FC like the one on the FD I have here. Which by the way is boosting nicely and running well again And good timing, The owner just returned from Iraq the other night and is anxious to drive it again...first time in almost 2 1/2 years i think..

glad to hear it dave. hope he enjoys that wastegate actuator lol. the front kit was just the first of a few ideas i have in mind. i like the cutouts for the headlights but its not everybodies favorite. we will see what happens next month when the money rolls in. but over anything i am gonna have that diffuser.

Ok, I am a little slow. I had to reread your post. I like the rear diffuser! also, the kit would look better (to me) if it didn't have the lower front cowpusher thing.

Yeah I thought about mounting it sideways on top using a wrap around weber intake modified to mount the SC and use a DCOE or Dell coming out over the oil filler. Might have to grab a 2G oil filler that ducks out from under it all. The only concern I have is can the SC work that way or will the oiling get all messed up inside.

I'm assuming it needs oil fed into it like a turbo to keep things all slippy inside. Anyway at this point its a good thought exercise.

IIRC it is a self contained oiling SC.

I found the info, its self contained but you have to change the oil periodically. There a GM oil change kit available. The hardest part about doing this is the intake fab work. These are much easier than a turbo. Of course you may need an IC but for at first you don't, depends on the pulley you run. Looks like GM products run at about 6 psi or so.

This looks eminently doable and a fast way to grenade a stock port while I'm at it

Lol. I am all for it. I was looking at the piping needed and the pictures of the under and overbelly of the SC. It would be doable. Josh's runs about 15psi
