And therefore, Mazda's hp must be hampster power.

I'm not hell bent on having the fastest FD in existence. But I'll take one that can run with a Z06. I out ran a C6 a couple weekends back, so I'm not too far behind a Z06. I've got less than $10k in my car, I think the price & displacement difference, the Z06 owner should be impressed with an FD, if not somewhat embarrased.

a ported eaton cobra will not put down 550...even all the guys at svtperformance.com say so too...but i'm not going to get into that subject
