i am from Canada so i don't know what the ls7 sales for in the US but here it is big money.

yes with out a dowt the Z06 is a killer car but you have to look at $ to HP ratio this car is from the 2000's they had what almost 15 more years to design the Z06 look at any USDM car in 1993 that would out right kill the rx7 from stock the sundance is the only 1993 car i can think of so i dont know of any

hp=400-450

used RX7= 25k
3 rotor or 4 rotor =20K
single turbo=5K
ECU and fuel up's =3K
small fixes =5K much less but what ever we have lots of money to spend
suspension=3K
$=61K max
HP=600-1600

and you still have the money to buy the veilside fortune body kit

In any case, I stand with what I said about a properly setup Rx7 @ 400 RWHP. You disagree that's cool, expected of course. Not only by this thread but by posts you've made in the past about rx7's. By reading those past posts all I can say is that your FD must really be a giant piece of ****.

Well as luck would have it I have a properly setup 400 RWHP FD (GT35R) which is currently at the shop getting my final tune done + pretty polish work

Ok so whenever I run into a Z06 that wants to play I'll report back on the outcome. I'll be honest, if lose I'll post it. BTW 400 RWHP is not my limit, gotta love turbo cars.

I dont know if this means anything...(not being sarcastic here).... I did the math and they both come out to being almost identical in 1/4 mile time. 11.45@124mph

^^yeah they vary most seem to be around 440ish but enough of them dyno 460ish

Seems that you car is putting down a lot more (20-40 RWHP) than the average stock Z06. If your car is truly stock, that makes you more the exception than the rule.

Prior to the vid, i made ONE post. When i said it takes an LS1 FD to take down a Z06.

A video was then posted about a "stock" z06 beating a 400+rwhp FD. People then said, "no, the FD should beat a stock z06".

Well ok thats fine but the video showed differently. Why people are still arguing the facts about the video i have no clue.

You're very quick to pull the trigger and encounter in races. Which is cool i guess but for 1, we're not in high school anymore and 2, if we did race wont prove anything because i dont even have a vette.

But lets make it interesting and say i did have a c6 z06. You dont have 400+rwhp anyway so you would still get whipped by me so that further proves my point lol.

Actually my sisters' good friend whos a realtor owns a black one. Gorgeous! Black with black wheels. But if i were to say some dude down south jersey wants to race you because he has something to prove, he would probably laugh. Then if i were to say its a 1st gen rx7, he would just die on the floor so thats probably not a good idea.

Maybe its better if you find someone you know that has one.

No dont just race a stock c6z06 make it interesting since your sure your going to rape it! Find one with some bolt on's and some good tires. I mean comon your fb has over 3 times more power than what i came with stock just to maybe keep up with a stock car..lol

The arguement is stupid it like when honda owners argue a civic is better becuase it can beat v8's they fail to realize there car is heavly modded and the v8 is usually stock. wow yea not really.

There is a video on youtube of a 400+fwhp EG civic (the civic that weighs less than nothing) getting destroyed by a bolt on c6 z06.

With similar weight and less power, i dont think we will ever see such a video because it wont ever happen lol

This is NOT a fwd civic bud. and how did we go from stock zo6 to bolt ons. what kind of bolt ons? headers, exhaust? or we talkin supercharger? i was just talking about running a stock one at a measly 13psi on pump gas. but if you have bolt on one for me to run, id be more than happy to race it at a measly 22psi
