I have to use proven evidence if you do a quick search on youtube. A 420fwhp civic gets man handled by a bolt on z06. It was intake and exhaust or some crap.

So if a 420fwhp civic (which is light as hell) cant beat that z06. You can imagine the end result would be similar to your car, which is less hp against a STOCK z06.

Btw, stock z06's can run low 11s.

On a highway run, there is basically no driver error, you REALLY need a fast car.

You must have something installed in your car no one knows about. Because at 350hp, you WILL NOT take down a z06.

well i went 10.85 on pump gas thanks 13psi
and i also went 10.20 at 20psi., still relatively LOW boost and i missed 3rd gear

never dynoed the car for more boost but ran 10.20 @ 20psi with a 1.35 60ft

Its about the original argument, or at least the argument that got me here in the first place, A 400+rwhp FD can not take a stock z06. Please post more about your car though, since thats totally what we're talking about now. I can still tell my sisters friend to run you, its only 1000 bucks. He makes about a 1/4 million a year anyway so im sure 1000 bucks isnt much of a loss. He still goes home in a c6 z06 thats STOCK and you go home in a highly modified rx7.

Check my vid i posted it had a bone stock c6z06 running a 10.8! What are you trying to prove? A couple bolt on's and your not going to keep up. It never end's if your trying to drag your first gen you bought the wrong car if your going after corvettes.

 

Yup, a STOCK c6 z06 CAN run a high 10 with a good driver.

I was being giving when i said high 11s. Cause you can put a shitty driver in there and still hit an 11.x time.

first off, i went 10.8 at 350hp at 13psi. my car is no where near highly modified, and nor did it cost 80 grand to run a 10.8. lets stick to what we first talked about. i will race your sis friends stock z06 for a 1000 bucks on 13psi at 350rwhp. sound good? hey it should be interesting since both cars go 10.8. or we can really stick to the original topic and ill turn my boost to about 17psi or so to make 400rwhp as the thread states and run the stock z06. im willing to race him at 350hp tho.

I got my money on dwrx7 if the race happens. If not im sure he'll find one unless he already hasn't. he's just trying to prove something to some of the people who think they know it all. And to put my opinion on this topic, there's no way that 7 was making 400rwhp during that run, commen sense will tell you that a Z06 will not pull away from a 400rwhp rx7 like that. And for the record, a stock Z06 DO NOT RUN 10s. The car been tested by a numerous amount of professional drivers and all of them ran mid 11s. or a little lower. I refuse to believe it if only 1 person in world was able to do. One more thing, money is money no matter how you look at it. Why should it even be an arguement about us modifying the car we love to keep up with modern technology. Its obvious that the Z06 makes alot of power stock, but you gotta pay for. dwrx7 is the perfect example when it comes to spending money smartly. He has a cheap setup and his car will rape a Z06 everytime it comes to the line. The best part about it is he's doing it a car he loves.
