Actually my car weighs 2570 lbs. Anyhow, I am glad you have a 7000 rpm redline mine is 8500.

Funny, how they can get 8000 hp dragsters to hook up but your 500 hp Z06 is beyond that?

Fact is im still right because the video is proven, sought out evidence of a 400+rwhp FD getting beat by a z06.

You say just because i saw it on video, it cant be true? Wow, so i guess R&D is based on theory alone with no physical tests.

So if you throw a big turbo and boost, you ESTIMATE "i should be making 500rwhp?" LOL

No, you throw the car on the dyno, because you're physically testing, proving how much power your making.

But yeah, keep throwing out more cars "you beat" in the mix of this thread, even though its irrelevant. If you didnt race an enzo, i didnt know ferraris have the same performance as a c6 z06.

Maybe next time i see a single turbo FD, ill ask what single he has and if he says T78, ill say, "o thats slow".
You are still apparently so ignorant about T-78 rotary set ups that you have no phucking clue about power output. Kid, get an education before posting - you are so ignorant of dyno tuned T-78 (and other single turbo apps) in RX-7s it's comical.

Kid, don't let your ignorance run away with you. Do some research before posting.

And yes, I've raced many cars that are equivalent or faster than a stock Z (including, GASP, a Ferrari 430 Stradale - that would be a "non Enzo Ferrari" for you Junior). Big deal - they are a point of reference - Z's are no big deal either but you sure do seem anamored with them? Why such the hard-on for Chevy Z cars?

Any other ignorant comments or are you done posting?

Another irrelevant post.

448rwhp T78 turbo rx7 is still a 448rwhp rx7 that got WHIPPED on the highway.

You can blab all you want about turbo efficiency and dyno tuned rx7s and all that mumbo jumbo. If we were talking about theory alone, i would shut up.

The video showed what happened. O NO I said it again!!! The video!!!

Opps, i meant the imaginary cartoon someone posted.

Now you can't keep the power output on the RX-7 & the Z straight. ....Your IQ has now officially dropped below that of a barnyard animal.

Please, do us a big favor? Go back and read the thread and try (emphasis on "TRY". here I'll help posts=#'s specifically 235 & 236) to grasp the FD in the video had 400 - 420 rwhp & the Z had at least 448 (that would be the Sixth Generation Corvette ZO6, not a Third Generation modified RX-7). We also "learn" that the Z had 480 rwhp so this raises the question if the Z was really stock during the run, or at 480 rwhp). In any case, the FD had a peak power level "somewhere" between 400 - 420 rwhp running 10 - 12 lbs on a T-78 (so we are told which equates to an extremely inefficient power curve).

Dynojets = "mumbo jumbo"? Kid, put down the crack pipe. It's call Physics (they actually apply to you & everyone else on this planet and represent physical laws which can be measured (Dynojet anyone?) and are applied to our everyday lives). As far as personal experience, I'm lightyears ahead of you (as are most of the other thread contributors such as Mr RX-7 TT, Matty, etc). You are an ignorant kid with no practical experience that can't grasp power under the curve & it's proven rather amusing.

It's hilarious how ignorant you are about single turbo rotaries & power output in general, yet.....you actually continue to post. Keep on swingin', you'll be in China soon.

Wow, so i had a typo. I meant to say 478rwhp which is worse because he got whipped badly.

478>hp 403lbs> torque @ 17.5lbs>boost 430hp @ 12psi

Assuming he meant rwhp which is likely since most dyno's calculate hp to the wheels.

So i cant grasp the concept of power under the curve, is that why you're making excuses? lol

You're already well into your 40s, i would HOPE you have more experience than me.

Which brings up the fact that no one is here saying you dont know what you're talking about so i think its sad you have to bring up your "experience" into this thread.

Fact is, high rwhp FD got whipped by a z06 with intake. BADLY.

This is one fact YOU CANT grasp.

One thing is if the FD got beat by a little, maybe a car, i wouldnt even say anything but i think its rather amusing you cant comprehend what you saw.

O wait, i know you have more experience than me, real proof isnt enough evidence, just your theories.

Soo we all know it would take 450-500rwhp to kill a c6 Z06 but the c6z06 is old new's now!

Who wants to guess how much rwhp its goping to take to smack down the z06's big daddy the ZR1?

Most Z06’s dyno at around 440 - 460 RWHP.

In other words, you are saying that we need at least the same HP to an additional 50 at THE WHEELS to beat car that is at least 400 LBS HEAVIER??? Ha ha :rolfl:

630hp

600+lbft tq

you can't just use power to weight ratio, HP doesnt mean anything unless you look at the entire power curve. what counts is the total area under the curve, not just the peak.

And I'm pretty sure a 400 whp dyno graph on an fd looks completely different than a zo6 dyno graph

and taking that a step further, 400hp on 2 rx7s can have pretty different looking curves depending on the mods and the tune. So one person saying his 400hp rx7 can beat a Z06 may be valid, and someone else with a different set up but same peak power may not be able to beat a z06, you can't just group everything together.

I spent less than half the price of that car for my total project including the car and ill still put 5 car lengths on it on 20psi, and thats still low boost. lol

a giant 6.3l with a supercharger only making 630 base hp. what a joke.

BTW: youre not a mazda man lol your dick is up z06 tailpipe
