Just do what jason does. Disconnect the hub from the suspension and drive it until it falls off.

almost every apartment is on a splitter, and they're connected to another apartment's cable. seriously, go look in the laundry room. when Mike and i were still together he spent a good hour or so in that room trying to figure out what cable goes to which apartment...he never figured it out.

I'm thinking that i should have a house warming party/Poker night sometime once i get my place situated enough (still unpacking and sorting thru stuff) im getting there slowly but surely. i had to take over the dining room cuz i got so much computer stuff

SPEAKING of....i got a couple of 133 MHz systems for sale
both are good for simple *nix based firewalls. one is a noname box (FREE) and the other is an HP with a marbleized case ($10) and tv tuner/capture card set that works under windows 98. i can also provide a DVD decoder card and an old Monster 3d card (VooDoo1 )($5 for both cards)

i also got a SparcStation5 up for sale if anyone wants it. 32-bit SPARC based system. runs netBSD or OpenBSD fine. X runs slow but console mode is fine for it. i got video adapter for it but no keyboard/mouse (needs sun brand type 5/6 or converter to PS/2). other stuff when i dig it out.

i still got car parts from my supra available. nice CT-26 turbo thats useable now but needs a rebuild (very minor axial play but spools fine) for 150 bucks (rebuild kit is only $240ish). handles up to 25PSI stock. no wastegate actuator

I hate that, the lazy techs are supposed to clearly tag every line when they're installing service or disconnecting an existing customer. Most of them don't and as a result most apartments and pedestals with lots of drops are a tangled mess of unlabeled lines.

One building was so bad to avoid neverending calls for accidental disconnects, we just hooked up everyone and left. =)

after talking with the roommates today, i found out MORE fun stuff about our building. Joe, you'll love this...

there are 5 functioning lines going into a 12-apartment building. that's 5 good lines, from which everyone splits off.

WHAT THE FLYING HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY?!!?!?

that said, i'm now a redhead. (but not her color):

WEEEEEEE! the ex fiance's foaming at the mouth to get back together with me now...hahahahahahahaloser.

My night out driving around was...an experience, to say the least.

Ok, me and Brent (Rufio) went out driving around..took a couple twisties, I lost my backend and almost **** a brick, and then we went up to the River Hill (Giant, Blockbuster, McDonalds) shopping center parking lot.

A guy in a Jeep cuts across all of the parking spaces, and pretty much floors it all around the lot, going 40mph+. A cop is riding around, and completely ignores him. Finally, we thought he was going to go chase him, but rather, HE COMES OVER TO ME AND BRENT. Omfg.

He gets out and is like "Wow(talking about Brent's FD), nice car man! I know a guy with a black one..really nice." Brent- "Yeah..it is." Cop- "Got anything done to it?" *pulls out flashlight and mumbles on radio* Brent- "Yeah, lots" *laughs* Cop- "Well, lets see what you've got." *Turns on flashlight and walks to front of car*

Ok so, long story short, the cop COMPLIMENTED every part on the car, and then told us to have a good night. Knowing FULL WELL literally every peice on the car was 100% illegal. He asked me if I had any plans to mod the RX8, and I said no. BY FAR, THE coolest cop IN THE WORLD.

Ok..thats one cool cop. Now onto the other.

Me and Brent parted ways..and I took Rt-32 home. I merged at like 70mph, which is a little less than normal, and settled down to like 65-66. This guy comes FLYING up on me, it looked like an Explorer (I think he had his high beams on) and just tailgates me like hell. I stay steady at like 65-66, thinking its just some dick having a bad night. Note, this is a 50mph area of Rt-32..

So, I get tired of this guy, and Linden Church is coming up. The turn off "lane" is pretty short, so I FLUNG over into the lane at the absolute last second. Rolling past me is a STATE TROOPER. He slams on his brakes, but can't make the U-turn due to 3 cars coming in the opposite direction. I got lucky, yeah? It was 11:50 PM, normally hardly any traffic outside..

So I HAULED *** down Linden Church to my house...and he never caught up with me. Oh. My. God.

yea that **** was crazy, that cop makes me think so much better of cops, i wish more were like him

my story of the drive home

turn onto 32 the opposite way or james, and what do u know, 100 feet ahead of me, a red FC, i catch up and flash my high beams, finally i cross the double yellow and pass em. We get up to the light and they pull into the right turn lane, to my surprise i see a chick driving, it made me all tingly inside when she gave me the thumbs up..haha

They're clearly labeled here!

I was able to unlock the phallic cable interconnect box on my lawn and find my cable. From there I was able to disconnect the filter that blocks all channels and only allows internet to pass through.

Thank you Comcast for doing something right.

some cops will let you off with a warning if you can impress them.

I got tagged at 62MPH on a neighborhood road (25 MPH). i got off with a warning because the cop had never seen someone get their car that fast in under 2 blocks. (mind you i turned onto the road already doing 45)

another time i got tagged 45 in a 25 SCHOOL zone...got off with a non-contested court date cuz i t happened on my B-day.

worst one i think was when i was doing 60 down the service road of viers mill (which itself is only like 35-45 MPH) and the cop pulled me over and said i had also ran 3 stop signs (california stops). he was offduty so i only got a verbal warning.

yeah..........lets not even get into the time i got pulled over for drunk driving.....while SOBER

so far market trend predicts that gas prices could drop back doen to around the 2.00 level by thanksgiving. In a separate report made after that estimate shows that oil production in the golf is pretty much back on track with a few rigs pumping more oil than they were before the hurricane as much as 120%. in a third unrelated report, prospectors believe they may have found a giant oil field about 280 miles southwest of northern florida that could be the biggest field in the gulf to date with around 50 billion barrels of oil.

and in final point...the summertime usage spike of gas is tapering off leading to the dropping prices we were already seeing.

the dillema in alaska was actually toned down a lot...instead of killing the entire field of production, they only turned off the section that needed repairs. the field is still putting out over 60% of its normal production. this is only one field thats affected. the impact of it being off isnt that high with other areas of country running higher than 100%.

2.59 has been the lowest ive seen as of yesterday and that was in scaggsville.

Rufio: I have this weird image in my head that the hamster in your avatar has an HKS super Dragger fartcan shoved into its poor little butt. course it would also need spinner paws and dye its fur yellow.
