Naa, you have to have more then 50 posts at LS1 tech, besides I have no idea what this **** is worth. I'm going to pick it up on the 25th. So come on over and check it out any advice on the method of pulling it out or what parts are worth is very welcome. It still runs and drives, the interior on those things are kinda neat.
Dealers will drop the front subframe and lift the car off it, to make it easy. Without a lift, it will come up through the front/top. You have an advantage with it being wrecked, because you can just sawzall the whole core support right off to make room for the hoist.
I used the GM driveshaft (A1 Driveshaft shortened it and put the right rear flange on it for me) plus I used the engine, trans, shifter, PCM, and harness. Depending on how much power you're looking at making, you could use the stock exhaust manifolds (cheaper than buying headers).
That's basically all you need and everything else can go. Although I have been curious if anyone could make use of the GM radiator - I used my stock F-body hoses with a little trimming to make them fit. Maybe even the stock cooling fan, I'm not sure how much room you have in the FC but I think there's more than the FD has.
You can post all the extra parts on RD, you should have enough posts there. Just bump it every once in awhile, someone is bound to need some parts at one time or another over there.

the only problem is it has a 4l60e and I want a t-56. I need to look into doing the conversion.
I've already got the radiator (vette) and kit for the FC, hinsons aluminum driveshaft. I may keep the stock headers for now just to get the thing on the road and then swap over to headers when I've got some more cash.

what kind of idiot bank thinks a $500 (five hundred) loan with a 6 year repayment plan sounds correct? and they expect me to pay 15 bucks interrest to return it the DAY i got it. WTF is wrong with these people.
