Lulz at your posts Wes and Mike.
I did all that stuff to my TII before I sold it. Those o-rings are nasty.

Wes, Sure if you want to pick me up!

I'm just getting rid of them and putting freeze plugs in the housings.

I'm re-plumbing the turbo coolant to the rear iron.

Got these delivered today. I know wheels, tires and front sway bar were all that was really needed, but these were a good deal (ebay).

They are Re-Speed, 250lb. The seller claims they were only on the car for 6 months, they look new. Now I just need to pick up a pair for the back now. Slowly but surely I will have a better car next year for autocross.

Freeze plugs are the same size for the 12A. Not sure when I will get to those.

I've got a first gen and a bunch of parts I need to offload. I'm getting out of the Navy in January and can't take it with me. Here is the story on the car. Just before we moved to Annapolis 2 yrs ago I put a running engine in her (still have original) and a locking rear diff, but haven't even started her since then. It tears me up to part with the car but its time to put the dream of restoration behind me.

While I'd appreciate some money for the car, priority is finding a good home. If no one is interested, is there a picker lot ya'll want me to drop it off at so you'll know where to find it?

There will always be someone interested in a gem like that around here. If you can't find anyone else, I'll take it off your hands and get her running as a nice day daily. But, right now I have too many cars as is so I hope someone else gets it first.

What 'parts' do you have? I could use a couple things for my '83.

Oh and post some current pics too, that will get some interest going.

The only parts I'd consider "extra" are the original 12a + trans, full set of poly bushings for the suspension from blackdragon (NIB), an a/c unit, a radiator, and a retractible antenna. whoever takes the car has right of first refusal for everything else. Sorry but I'm not interested in parting it out at this point.

Unless you're a rx7 wizard I would not categorize the car as "running or near running".

Thanks to those who pm'd me, maybe I should have put it in the first post, but I am trying to get the title sent up from texas. The original title was lost when I tried to donate the car 10yrs ago but I haven't received the new title yet... I expect it in 2-3wks. I understand if that scares someone off...

I'll be answering pm's this weekend and will update the post if someone takes the car or when the title arrives.

Cheers

Did you get a 12 pack? I started up the old FB today and it was smoking coolant by the intake. I hope it is only the freeze plugs sucking.
